Patent number: 12215935Abstract: A thermal management system and a method of operating thereof includes a housing body having a first broad surface and an opposing second broad surface and may extend between a first end and a second end. The housing body defines plural passages disposed between the first and second broad surfaces. The plural passages extend in one or more orthogonal directions between the first and second ends of the body. An inlet conduit is fluidly coupled with a first passage of the plural passages via an inlet structure that defines an inlet of the housing body, and directs a fluid into the first passage of the plural passages. An outlet conduit is fluidly coupled with a second passage of the plural passages via an outlet structure that defines an outlet of the housing body, and directs the fluid out of the second passage of the plural passages.Type: GrantFiled: February 16, 2022Date of Patent: February 4, 2025Assignee: Transportation IP Holdings, LLCInventors: Andrew Louis Krivonak, Patrick Lee Jansen, Neil Bradley, Gregory Badders, Mark Zysk, Michael Jay Grutkowski

Patent number: 8366087Abstract: A jig positioning system for use on a truss assembly table. The puck assembly 108 has a puck 109 positioned at least partially above the table top 105 with the puck 109 connected to a carriage 110 positioned at least partially below the table top. The puck assembly 108 moves along slots 118 in the table top 105. A threaded rod 102 extends through a threaded passageway 103 in the carriage 110, so, when the threaded rod rotates, the puck assembly moves along a corresponding slot in the table. A rod support member 116 extends along the length of the threaded rod 102 and is positioned below the threaded rod 102, the support member 116 contacting the carriage and, thereby, preventing the threaded rod from excessive sagging. A debris path is provided along both sides of the support member 116.Type: GrantFiled: January 29, 2008Date of Patent: February 5, 2013Assignee: Illinois Tool Works, Inc.Inventors: David L. Publication number: 20080053459Abstract: An inter-lip device for regulating mouth airflow to prevent snoring while sleeping. A canoe shaped horizontal pocket is formed by hinge-ably attaching two resilient panels together by three common edges, sized to fit between the lips without protruding into the mouth. An adhesive covering is applied to both outer faces of the pocket and a slit is cut in the middle of the front edge hinge. The pocket opens to the rear into the mouth. The lips are sealed to the adhesive about the pocket opening, holding the mouth closed while directing mouth breathing through the device and out the front slit opening. With the jaw consciously flexed, resting mouth airflow is comfortably allowed, however, a relaxed sleeper's jaw or a forced inhalation will collapse the slit opening, reducing or stopping airflow, causing the user to breath through their nose, thereby preventing the necessary mouth airflow needed to support snoring.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 6, 2006Publication date: March 6, 2008Inventor: Neil Bradley Silker
