    Abstract: The invention provides formulations of albumin with desirably high levels of free thiol and desirably low levels of albumin polymer. The invention further provides uses of a formulation comprising: (i) albumin, wherein the albumin is in a substantially unaggregated form; and (ii) an anion having multiple negative charges housed on a flexible backbone, to stabilise a virus. The invention also provides a formulation and a kit of parts comprising (i) albumin, wherein the albumin is in a substantially unaggregated form; and (ii) an anion having multiple negative charges housed on a flexible backbone and its use to stabilise a virus.
