  • Patent number: 7050886
Abstract: A computer controlled pumping and measuring system is used to dispense chemicals into a concrete mix. The redundant use of positive displacement pumps and flow meters ensure that any problems with the chemical dispensing are immediately caught. The computerized control system may be operable to control exact batch configurations of concrete and aggregate in conjunction with the chemical dispensing, as well as provide precise mixture control and recording of the various components.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 11, 2005
Date of Patent: May 23, 2006
    Assignee: Port-A-Pour, Inc.
Inventors: Neil G. Oberg, Jerome J. Doherty

  • Patent number: 5605397
Abstract: A system and method for mixing particulate cement with mineral aggregate(s) so as to minimize the formation and escape of dust. The system involves dispensing aggregate(s) downwardly from a hopper and simultaneously dispensing the cement particles from a tube within the aggregate hopper above the hopper opening. The cement particles adhere to moisture on the surface of the aggregate(s).

  • Patent number: 4658508
Abstract: An electronic level measuring device is provided for a tractor trailer in which a remote level sensing device is mounted on the rear frame of the trailer and a meter for indicating continuously the amount the trailer is tilted laterally is provided in the cab of the tractor. The meter also indicates the direction of tilt and changes scale when the tilt exceeds a predetermined amount. The device will work with reverse polarity and provides a continuous reading to the driver of the truck.
