  • Patent number: 12088591
Abstract: Systems and method for verifying an identity of a user during interaction with a resource provider are disclosed. Embodiments enable using an authorization request message to inquire about an identity attribute (e.g. age) of a user during an interaction between the user and a resource provider. An authorizing entity (e.g. issuer) or a processing entity provides an answer to the inquiry within an authorization response message. The answer to the inquiry may establish whether the consumer meets a threshold (e.g. minimum age requirement).

  • Publication number: 20200266757
Abstract: A preassembled solar panel module includes a solar panel configured for receiving and converting solar radiation to produce electrical power. Multiple panel rails are coupled in preassembly to a backside surface of the solar panel, including at least two panel rails disposed halfway or more along opposing longest edges of the solar panel. Multiple snap connector components are each coupled to one of the at least two rails and are each configured to couple with a complementary snap connector component of an adjacent preassembled solar panel module. One or more mounting feet are each coupled at a selected location to one of the at least two panel rails and are each configured for coupling at a selected location to a roof or other sunlight receiving surface.

  • Patent number: 10135386
Abstract: A solar module system is coupled directly to a fixed structure either individually or collectively as an array. Universal mounting brackets attached to the back of each solar panel module each connect to one or more other brackets of adjacent solar panels and/or to mounting feet that anchor to the fixed structure. Mounting brackets interlock with mounting brackets on adjacent solar modules and include a flexible snap coupling mechanism including a locking feature to selectively flexibly connect to and disconnect from other mounting brackets of adjacent solar panels.

  • Publication number: 20180041161
Abstract: A mounting system and techniques for securing solar panels to a fixed structure including a plurality of mounting brackets and tracks and a plurality of mounting feet that connect to the tracks and anchor to the fixed structure. Each mounting bracket has a means to interconnect and interlock with the mounting brackets on adjacent solar modules. In addition, the mounting feet have a quick release mechanism to connect and disconnect from the track. The mounting feet are appropriately selected for the given fixed structure or roof type. The solar module system, in accordance with certain embodiments, has toggle anchors to reliably mount into sheathing plywood or OSB material. The solar module system, in accordance with certain embodiments, also describes an electrical conduction and coupling system for solar modules that integrates electrical coupling with mechanical coupling at the point of mechanical attachment.

  • Publication number: 20170062639
Abstract: An integrated preassembled solar panel module includes a solar panel configured for receiving and converting solar radiation to produce electrical power. Multiple mounting feet are coupled to the solar panel at selected locations. One or more sheathing anchors are configured for coupling the mounting feet to roof sheathing at locations not overlapping roof rafters and thereby securing the solar panel to the roof sheathing without accessing an underside of the roof sheathing.
