Abstract: An electrical plug connector, including an upper housing portion 1, a lower housing portion 2 and a plug chamber 4 for a RJ plug. In the upper housing portion 1 contact elements to be wired with connecting wires are disposed. The inner ends of the connecting wires are connected with contact strips 7 projecting into the plug chamber 4 for contacting the RJ plugs. The plug chamber 4 is adapted as a separate housing portion 3 and is latchable with the lower housing portion 2 by means of connection elements 16, 17, 18, in at least two different positions. The contact strips 7 are bent off each in different directions into the plug chamber 4, depending upon the position of the plug chamber 4.

The clamping terminal unit forms a variety of different terminations in the medium voltage sector with medium currents that can reliably and rapidly be made. A housing 1 includes introduction openings 2 to insulation displacement contacts 3 for electrical conductors, an opening 4 and latch devices 14, 15 for the alignment of housings 1 and a recess 5 for the series arrangement of housings 1.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a termination module comprising multiple contacts for the termination of cable wires at an insulation displacement contact and comprising a pressure piece with a screw, an intermediate piece and a base plate. The object of the invention, is to develop a termination module of the type in which cable wires having different wire diameters can be terminated in a wide range. It is achieved by a closed bifurcated contact connected as one piece over a connection plate 21 with insulation displacement contact 7 and a tapping 18, insulation displacement contact 7 being disposed inclinedly behind bifurcated contact 6.

It has application, for example, in telecommunications where a telephone instrument is connected by a lead with an appropriate plug to a jack provided in a wall panel.
