  • Patent number: 10601771
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus for configuring a network device are disclosed. In one aspect, a network address that is assigned to the network device by a network address server is detected by an equipment configuration device. The network address server differs from the network device. In response to detecting the network address, a set of connection parameters that connect the network device to a controller device is transmitted by the equipment configuration device and to the network device. The set of connection parameters is transmitted outside of communications, transmitted by the network address server, that assigned the network address to the network device.

Date of Patent: March 24, 2020
    Assignee: ADTRAN, Inc.

  • Patent number: 9303931
Abstract: A firearm operating system for self-loading firearms includes a bolt body having a forward bolt bearing, a piston and an aft bolt bearing arranged around the bolt body; a bolt carrier slidingly receiving the bolt body in a longitudinally-oriented cylinder, the cylinder extending from a forward end of the bolt carrier into the bolt carrier a predetermined distance, the bolt carrier having a tubular aft carrier bearing, wherein the bolt is slidingly captured in the cylinder of the bolt carrier and borne on the two bearings of the bolt body, wherein the forward bearing of the bolt body is borne on the cylinder of the bolt carrier, wherein the aft bearing of the bolt body is borne on the aft bolt carrier bearing, wherein a gap is formed between the piston and the cylinder, and wherein the piston and the cylinder do not contact each other.

  • Patent number: 8693454
Abstract: A wireless connection between a mobile device and an IP-based wireless telecommunications network is established when the mobile device registers with a network controller (NC) through an access point (AP). When a geographical position is needed for the mobile device (e.g., a 911 call), messages are exchanged between the NC and a serving mobile location center (SMLC), where the SMLC retrieves information from a database that is used to identify the geographic position of the mobile device. The database can store a variety of information related to mobile devices such as: last known position, IP address, MAC address, a mobile or subscriber identifier (such as an International Mobile Subscriber Identity (IMSI)), last CGI, etc. The geographical position is communicated back to the NC, which can then forward the position information to a switch for processing such as for 911 calls.

  • Publication number: 20050022296
Abstract: A collapsible wheel chair with displaceable seat panels includes a first side frame member, a second side frame member, a seat frame, a first pivoting support member, a second pivoting support member, a first pair of wheels and a second pair of wheels. The first side frame member is retained relative to the second side frame member with the first and second pivoting members. One side of the seat frame is pivotally attached to one of the side frame members. The seat frame includes at least one seat section, which may each be independently raised or lower on one end thereof. The first pair of wheels are pivotally retained by the first and second side frame members. The second pair of wheels are pivotally retained by the first and second side frame members.

  • Patent number: 6732206
Abstract: A system of expanding addressing in an addressing constrained environment. A bus that defines a limited number of addresses couples together a master and a plurality of slaves. When each slave has multiple possible target ports, a maximum granularity provided by the addressing may be exceeded. By using a portion of a transmission header as an internal address, the maximum addressing may be expanded to greater granularity. The internal address is then translated in the slave to recover the external address in the header.

  • Patent number: 6580774
Abstract: A method and apparatus for synchronizing ATM cells is disclosed. A synchronization unit receives a data clock signal and a plurality of control signals. Based on those signals, a sync pulse is generated. If synchronization is not achieved within a predetermined time period, the sync pulse is shifted one bit location. Through iterative shifting of the sync pulse, synchronization is ultimately achieved.
