  • Patent number: 10991921
Abstract: A multilayer dielectric and sealing film is disclosed. The multi-layer dielectric sealing film comprises a layer of dielectric material and at least one layer of sealing material. The multilayer film may be positioned between the current collector tabs and the packaging material of a thin film battery to prevent shorting between the tabs and the edge of a metal foil layer in the packaging material. The multi-layer film also provides additional sealant which can flow around and seal around the terminals. By combining the sealing material and the dielectric material into one multi-layer assembly, manufacturing steps can be eliminated.

  • Patent number: 10799413
Abstract: A restraint chair includes a supporting frame with a seat and a desk. A wrist capture bar is associated with the desk and is displaceable between a retracted position and an extended position. An ankle capture bar is associated with the desk pedestal and is displaceable between a disengaged position and an engaged position. Control levers positioned behind the seat are coupled with the wrist capture bar and the ankle capture bar via a link assembly. Translation of the control levers effects respective displacement of the wrist capture bar between the retracted position and the extended position and of the ankle capture bar between the disengaged position and the engaged position.

  • Publication number: 20160028052
Abstract: A method of attaching first and second layers together using a sealing material which flows under heat and pressure is provided. The method involves applying heat and pressure to a laminate comprising the first layer, the second layer and the sealing material wherein a first portion of the second layer having one or more apertures is between the heat sealing material and the first layer. Under heat and pressure, the sealing material flows into and through the one or more apertures in the second layer and contacts the underlying first layer thereby forming a rivet which attaches the first and second layers together.
