Publication number: 20260080808Abstract: A display sign is for a central reservation barrier in some examples. It has a base to engage a barrier in a manner which envelopes the top surface and downwardly on the opposed side walls. A display with display elements provides information for drivers, and a display drive apparatus is mounted to the base and rotates the display about a vertical axis extending from the base. The drives can have a very low profile, with components being offset with respect to the display longitudinal axis. The drive provides that the display is aligned with a barrier in use when not required but is turned to an optimal angle for visibility by drivers according to the driving conditions. The drive brings the display back to the default in operative position when there is a power outage.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 27, 2023Publication date: March 19, 2026Applicant: LAGAN CRAWL LIMITEDInventors: John MOYNIHAN, Tony MAGUIRE, Sean LOUGHLIN, Scott BENNETT, John COLEMAN, Martin CLOWRY, Neil MURRAY, Dominic SOUTHGATE

Patent number: 12093846Abstract: A system that manages a dialog between a user and an AI system using a hierarchically structured tree of topics. An illustrative application is collection of a personal history. A topic manager repeatedly selects a topic and requests the AI system to generate a question based on summary information stored in the associated topic node; this avoids sending the entire dialog to the AI system each time, which would be impossible for long conversations due to AI context window limitations. The AI system analyzes each response from the user to identify new topics to add to the tree, and to update the summary associated with each topic node. Vector embeddings of topic names may be used to place new topic nodes in the most relevant position in the tree. Topics may be selected using a biased tree walk that preferentially selects nodes that have been less explored in previous questions.Type: GrantFiled: February 16, 2024Date of Patent: September 17, 2024Assignee: Escendant LtdInventors: Binbin Xue, Simon Tyler, Neil Murray, Jenni Henderson

Patent number: 8946224Abstract: The present invention relates to derivatives of known active pharmaceutical compounds. These derivatives are differentiated from the parent active compound by virtue of being redox derivatives of the active compound. This means that one or more of the functional groups in the active compound has been converted to another group in one or more reactions which may be considered to represent a change of oxidation state. We refer to these compounds generally as redox derivatives. The derivatives of the invention may be related to the original parent active pharmaceutical compound by only a single step transformation, or may be related via several synthetic steps including one or more changes of oxidation state.Type: GrantFiled: November 11, 2011Date of Patent: February 3, 2015Assignee: Redx Pharma LimitedInventors: Mark Craighead, Ronald Palin, Neil Murray, Derek Lindsay

Patent number: 8607707Abstract: The invention relates to an identifiable bullet and methods for making an identifiable bullet. In one embodiment, the bullet has a generally circumferential body that tapers from a rearward end toward a forward end. A generally circumferential bore extends from an orifice on the forward end into the body at least part of the way between the forward end and the rearward end. The end of the bore opposite the orifice includes a polymeric material support surface. A polymeric material is placed between the polymeric material support surface and the forward end. The polymeric material may include a user identifiable marker for allowing a user to identify the bullet when viewing the forward end. Alternatively, the polymeric material may cover a user identifiable marker and seal the user identifiable marker in the bore. A user may identify the bullet by viewing the marker from the forward end of the bullet.Type: GrantFiled: January 30, 2012Date of Patent: December 17, 2013Inventors: Harry Arnon, Josef Arnon, Neil Murray

This means that one or more of the functional groups in the active compound has been converted to another group in one or more reactions which may be considered to represent a change of oxidation state. We refer to these compounds generally as redox derivatives. The derivatives of the invention may be related to the original parent active pharmaceutical compound by only a single step transformation, or may be related via several synthetic steps including one or more changes of oxidation state. In certain cases, the functional group obtained after two or more transformations may be in the same oxidation state as the parent active compound (and we include these compounds in our definition of redox derivatives).Type: ApplicationFiled: November 11, 2011Publication date: August 29, 2013Inventors: Mark Craighead, Ronald Palin, Neil Murray, Derek Lindsay
