Abstract: Techniques regarding a reclosure label are provided. For example, one or more embodiments described herein can comprise a reclosure label that includes a flap portion connected to a label base. Further, the flap portion can comprise a rigid material layer. Additionally, the reclosure label can comprise a flexible material layer that is integral with the flap portion and the label base and forms a hinge portion that enables the flap portion to pivot with respect to the label base. Moreover, the rigid material layer can be absent from the hinge portion.

Abstract: A die cutting method that cuts patterns in a label is provided. According an embodiment, a method adjusts temperature of a label sheet comprising a laminated layer and a liner layer. The method further separates the laminated layer from the liner layer prior to making the cuts on the laminated layer. The method further cuts one or more patterns on the laminated layer. The method further re-attaches, the laminated layer to the liner layer.

Abstract: The method disclosed herein for making a label having at least one resealable brochure and being suitable for attachment to a mounting surface includes providing a base planar member having oppositely disposed first and second surfaces and a first lateral edge, the first surface being suitable for coupling the base planar member to the mounting surface, providing a brochure sheet, laying a portion of the brochure sheet over the base planar member, coupling a portion of the second surface of the base planar member and a portion of the brochure sheet with a planar overlying member, wherein, a portion of the brochure sheet and overlying member project beyond the first lateral edge of the base planar member such that when the label is attached to the mounting surface, the overlying member may be selectively uncoupled and recoupled to the mounting surface.

Abstract: The present invention includes a shrink sleeve label with thermo-reactive adhesive and method of making such a label suitable for labeling objects having peripheries. The label includes shrink film wherein the shrink film has a first surface and a second surface, thermo-reactive adhesive, indicia, and security and tamper evidence features. The thermo-reactive adhesive lies adjacent to at least a portion of the second surface of the shrink film and the thermo-reactive adhesive forms a bond to the second surface of the shrink film. The indicia may exist on at least one or both of the first and second surfaces of the shrink film.

Abstract: A label having at least one resealable brochure and suitable for being attached to a mounting surface. The first surface is suitable for coupling the base member to the mounting surface. At least one sheet forms the brochure and at least partially overlies the base member. Abstract: A device for labeling an object having a periphery is described. The device includes a substantially planar member having oppositely disposed first and second surfaces, a length greater than the periphery of the object and a protruding tab portion for facilitating re-attachable at least partial separation of the device from the periphery of the object when the device is affixed about the periphery of the object. The device also includes printed indicia on at least one of a portion of the first surface and a portion of the second surface, and at least one adhesive on at least a portion of the second surface and suitable for affixing the device about the periphery of the object, wherein at least a portion of the adhesive is at least partially deadened.

The apparatus for security evidence labeling a container includes a substantially planar member, a first adhesive for affixing at least one visible indicia to the substantially planar member, at least one deadening agent for deadening the adhesive force of a portion of the first adhesive, and a second adhesive for affixing the substantially planar member, the first adhesive, and the at least one visible indicia to the container, wherein, the at least two adhesives have unequal relative strengths suitable for permitting the at least one visible indicia to separate into at least a first portion adhered to the substantially planar member and a second portion adhered to the container upon attempted removal of the substantially planar member after the substantially planar member is secured about the container.

Abstract: A method for providing a label being suitable for being adhered about an object having a outer circumference once removed from a release liner, the label having a length greater than the circumference of the object and the release liner providing a mechanical support for the label prior to be adhered about the object, the method including: printing at least a portion of the label with indicia; printing at least a portion of the release liner with indicia; and, at least partially severing the printed portion of the release liner from the release liner such that upon removal of the label from the release liner, the printed portion of the release liner remains releasably adhered to the label.
