  • Publication number: 20240031352
Abstract: A technique is provided that integrates authentication from a mobile device (e.g., using biometrics, social informational data, questions and answers, and more) to allow login to laptops and desktops while they are disconnected from the Internet using a USB cable connection, Bluetooth or local wifi or any other similar protocol and/or connected to 15 Internet without USB. The technique provides a cloud clearinghouse that ties a person's or entity's mobile device(s) to an identity that's used to authenticate a person (could be the same person) on a laptop, desktop, or similar computer system.

  • Patent number: 11700260
Abstract: A technique is provided that enables native authentication to cloud services by employing identity management of on-premise applications from the cloud. More specifically, a Web-service interface built on an innovative orchestration of platform-independent container technology is created. An identity management application is made available inside a container and which therefore can execute in any cloud-service provider. Specifically, this application can communicate back into a business' on-premise applications, using the Representation State Transfer (REST) application programming interface architecture. The container is published to the cloud for users to download. Thus, for example, by way of this technique, a user can log onto any cloud application with using the same logon information the user uses on-premise.

  • Publication number: 20210409391
Abstract: A technique is provided by which a user goes to a site and instead of the authentication system of the site going to their own databases to match an ID and password given by the user, because doing so is not secure, the site companies makes a call to an identity assurance score server (with ties to the ID-less and password-less system) and send a parameter such as a number. Then, based on that parameter (e.g., number or score), the identity assurance score server (with ties to the ID-less and password-less system, such as described hereinabove) sends a corresponding login protocol or factors to be satisfied to authenticate the user.

  • Patent number: 10848485
Abstract: A technique is provided in which entities, such as companies, connect to a universal social network score server in the cloud, to request therefrom a social network score about an entity. The social network score depicts how many social network sites were visited by the entity, if the entity is visible on the Internet or social network sites, if the entity is active on the social network sites, and, if so, how active. Also described are techniques with which to access a user's web applications, where the user registers and signs on to an aggregator system using any supported login identity provider username and password. The system also automatically creates a system secret username and secret, highly securely generated password, both of which are unknown and inaccessible to the user. The system also maps the login identity provider user name to the secret user name and password for subsequent usage.

  • Patent number: 10735404
Abstract: Techniques are described in which a service store is provided that allows consumers to shop for services online. The service store system architecture includes a service store which interacts over a network with service consumers, service providers, a social single sign-on aggregated identity engine, and various external partners. Through the online service store, complex and customized ordering and fulfillment processes are achieved using the service store environment.

Abstract: Techniques are described in which to access a user's web applications, the user registers and signs on to an aggregator system using any supported login identity provider username and password. When the user registers for the first time, the system collects additional information to verify the user for a subsequent access to the system. The system also automatically creates a system secret username and secret, highly securely generated password, both of which are unknown and inaccessible to the user. The secret username and password are stored in a lightweight directory access protocol (LDAP) server or database or in a distributed cloud database system. The system also maps the login identity provider user name to the secret user name and password for subsequent usage.

  • Patent number: 10432615
Abstract: Techniques are described in which for a user to obtain access to or entitlement to objects or locations, such as for example a web application or entry into an accounting office, the system derives a unified risk score associated with the user. The computer compares the unified risk score against a set of rules to determine whether the unified risk score is greater than a particular threshold. Based on such determination, the computer can cause denial of access or entitlement for example by denying entry to the web application or transmitting a denied message to a system that controls the physical lock on the door to the accounting office. In generating the unified risk score, the computer retrieves the most up-to-date identity information about the user by signing on to an aggregator system using any supported login identity provider username and password or other authenticating credentials associated with the user.
