Abstract: A system, device, application stored on non-transitory memory, and method can be configured to help a user of a device locate and pick up objects around them. Embodiments can be configured to help vision-impaired users find, locate, and pickup objects near them. Embodiments can be configured so that such functionality is provided locally via a single device so the device is able to provide assistance and hand guidance without a connection to the internet, a network, or another device (e.g. a remote server, a cloud based server, a server connectable to the device via an application programming interface, API, etc.).

Abstract: An intelligent insect trap and identification system is disclosed. The intelligent insect trap and identification system can include an insect imaging chamber and identification system. The chamber can include a first cell for accepting insects, a second cell, a first reflector in the second cell, and a first imaging device in the second cell for recording one or more first visual images of the one or more insects in the first cell. Based on the image, the insect imaging chamber can detect and identify the insects. Other aspects, embodiments, and features are also claimed and described.

Abstract: A document storage device for staging documents for presentation to a law enforcement officer includes a first panel and a plurality of second panels. A first coupler is coupled to a back of the first panel and is configured to selectively and removably couple the first panel to a surface of a vehicle, such as a visor and a window edge. Each second panel has opposing edges and a bottom edge that are coupled to a front of the first panel to define a plurality of pouches. A top of each pouch is configured to insert a respective document, such as a driver's license, proof-of-insurance, vehicle registration, and other permits, into the pouch. The pouch is readily repositioned from the visor of the vehicle to an edge of the driver's window in event the driver is pulled over by the law enforcement officer.

Abstract: Systems and methods facilitate transfer of lodging reservations on a secondary market, thereby maintaining increased inventory availability and flexibility, and avoiding sold-out or no-reservations-available conditions. Would-be travelers or lodgers are permitted to benefit from changing market conditions as they are able to consider selling/transferring previously made reservations to take advantage of price changes in their favor. At the same time, lodging providers are able to participate in profits realized from increasing lodging demand and prices, even where lodging reservations were originally made long in the past.

Abstract: A method for the prophylactic and therapeutic treatment of Streptococcal pneumoniae infections is disclosed which comprises the treating of an individual with an effective amount of a lytic enzyme composition specific for the infecting bacteria, and a carrier for delivering said lytic enzyme. This method, and composition can be used for the treatment of upper respiratory infections, lower respiratory infections, septicemia, bacterial meningitis, and other infections involving Streptococcal pneumoniae.
