  • Publication number: 20240142321
Abstract: A soft pressure sensing apparatus is provided. In one aspect of the present pressure sensing apparatus, a polymeric member, including conductive particles therein, is located between offset angled and crossing sets of electrodes. A further aspect includes a controller configured to calculate at least one regularized least-squares algorithm, to reduce cross-talk between the resistive members. In another aspect, a pressure sensor apparatus includes a piezoresistive film encapsulated between layers of substantially perpendicular electrodes to create a resistor network circuit where the ability to reconstruct cell resistance from measured two-point resistance. A method of manufacturing a pressure sensor includes using a mechanical vinyl cutter for the electrodes and/or piezoelectric resistive members.

  • Publication number: 20210224490
Abstract: The disclosed embodiments provide a system for managing the translation of content. During operation, the system generates a user interface for specifying parameters of a translation request for translating a content item from a first language into a second language. Next, the system formats the parameters and the content item into a representation of the translation request that is submitted for processing by a translation system. The system then monitors a status associated with processing the translation request by the translation system. Upon verifying completion of the translation request by the translation system, the system retrieves, from the translation system, a translation of the content item from the first language into the second language. Finally, the system formats the translation within a response to the translation request and transmits the response to a content source of the content item.

  • Patent number: 10579632
Abstract: The disclosed embodiments provide a system for personalizing content authoring. During operation, the system obtains interaction data containing interactions between a set of users and a set of features of a content management system (CMS). Next, the system tracks preferences of the users toward the features in a set of attributes representing the interaction data and a context associated with the interactions. During access to the CMS by a user, the system uses the attributes to identify other users that are similar to the user. Next, the system uses attributes for the user and the other users to calculate a set of weighted ratings between the user and the features. The system then generates output for prioritizing, for the user, the features within a user interface of the CMS according to the set of weighted ratings.

  • Publication number: 20190197130
Abstract: The disclosed embodiments provide a system for performing distributed incremental content publishing. The system includes a number of content sources and a message queue. Each content source receives or publishes an event containing a change to content over the message queue. When an event containing a change to content is received, a content source calculates a proof of work from the change. The content source then broadcasts the proof of work for verification by the other content sources. Alternatively, the content source receives the proof of work from another content source and verifies the proof of work. After the proof of work is verified, the content sources record the change by storing, in a blockchain, a block containing the change and the proof of work.
