Abstract: Techniques are provided for early processing of a part of a user input to produce a response to the entire or final user input. While the user input is being received, a partial user input, which is a part of the final user input, is processed to produce a response. The response is a candidate response for the final user input. After the final user input is received, and if the partial user input is determined to match or be equivalent to the final user input, the first response, which is already available, is provided to one or more output devices for presentation. If the final user input is determined to differ from the partial user input, the final user input is processed to produce a second response to the final user input, and the second response is provided for presentation. In some instances, multiple partial user inputs are received and processed.

Abstract: The present invention relates to tissue approximation and fixation, and surgical staples and staple placement devices for surgery and the like. The present invention includes surgical staples having solid first and second legs for anchoring into respective tissue portions, and an elastically deformable bridge monolithically formed with the first leg and the second leg, the legs each forming respective angles greater than 90 degrees with respective portions of said elastically deformable bridge. The present invention also includes staple insertion device comprising a handle portion and substantially parallel insertion portions extending from the handle, the insertion portions each having an interior lateral channel, and each insertion portions having a terminal point.

The mapping device can be coupled to an expandable treatment element. Alternatively, the treatment device can be a separate device, and advanced through an access lumen in the mapping device. The expandable treatment element can include multiple segments.

Abstract: The present invention includes a suture adapted to be anchored into tissue, the suture comprising a length of an elongate flexible suture material and a plurality of barbed anchor articles slidingly disposed along a length of the suture material. Abstract: An air gun firing operating system that uses compressed air to eject bullets by a purely mechanical device, and enables single firing or high-speed continuous firing. During the firing operation, the system uses a sliding shuttle tube that is able to slide back and forth in a linear displacement on a central axis between a bullet chamber and a cylinder. The sliding shuttle tube uses differential pressure variation in a pressure buffer chamber to achieve a stroke state that can be continuously changed, thereby achieving high-speed back and forth motion and continuous firing of bullets. The relevant driving position of a trigger device is provided with a sliding retainer, which is able to effect transient retaining of the sliding shuttle tube, thereby restricting the system for single firing, or discontinuing the retention to enable the system to be in a continuous firing operation state.
