  • Publication number: 20220385976
Abstract: In some embodiments, a method selects an account associated with an application that is displaying content. A plurality of contact options is retrieved where the contact options in the plurality of contact options are able to receive pull notifications for the account. The method ranks the plurality of contact options based on information associated with the account and generates a plurality of pull notification options using the ranking of the plurality of contact options. The plurality of pull notification options is output to the application for display on the application. A pull notification option in the plurality of pull notification options is associated with information to cause an associated contact option to be contacted upon selection of the pull notification option.

  • Patent number: 11514586
Abstract: Methods and systems for calibrating a transmission electron microscope are disclosed. A fiducial mark on the sample holder is used to identify known reference points so that a current collection area and a through-hole on the sample holder can be located. A plurality of beam current and beam area measurements are taken, and calibration tables are extrapolated from the measurements for a full range of microscope parameters. The calibration tables are then used to determine electron dose of a sample during an experiment at a given configuration.

  • Patent number: 11515999
Abstract: An improved blockchain implementation that reduces application transaction processing bottlenecks for applications that operate on a decentralized network. For example, if an application operating on a decentralized network becomes sufficiently popular, an existing blockchain can be split into the original blockchain and an application-specific chain (or app chain) that includes blocks that only store transactions for the sufficiently popular application. A peer that is not interested in tracking transactions for the sufficiently popular application, however, does not need to track the application-specific chain. Thus, the peer can reduce the number of computational operations that are performed by simply storing block data for blocks in the original blockchain and not for blocks in the application-specific chain.

  • Patent number: 11512234
Abstract: An adhesive composition made from an elastomer and a tackifying resin. The tackifying resin includes a farnesene polymer or copolymer having the following properties: i) less than 10 weight percent of volatile organic compounds; ii) Mn between 300 Da and 1000 Da; iii) Mw between 400 Da and 3000 Da; iv) Mw/Mn between 1.00 and 3.00; v) Tg between ?50° C. and 20° C.; and vi) viscosity between 400,000 cP and 1,000,000 cP at 25° C. A method of making the farnesene-based polymer or copolymer includes combining a farnesene monomer and a solvent and optionally adding one or more co-monomers selected from dienes, branched mono-olefins, and vinyl aromatics, to provide a monomer feed, and polymerizing the monomer feed by combining it with a Friedel-Crafts initiator in a vessel. The farnesene-based polymer or copolymer tackifier may be combined with one or more elastomers and one or more other tackifiers to form an adhesive composition.

  • Patent number: 11516084
Abstract: Facilitating device compatibility is provided herein. A system can comprise a processor and a memory that stores executable instructions that, when executed by the processor, facilitate performance of operations. The operations can comprise evaluating a parameter of a device to a defined parameter of a device pool based on receipt of a request to add the device to the device pool and based on a determination that a device type of the device does not match a defined device type of the device pool. Further, the operations can comprise either allowing the device to be included in the device pool based on the evaluating, or denying the device to be included in the device pool based on the evaluating. If the inclusion of the device is denied, the operations can comprise providing information indicative of a denial to add the device to the device pool.

  • Patent number: 11511942
Abstract: Systems for automatically leveling a base frame of a bulk material transport conveyor include radial travel wheels mounted on generally opposing sides of the base frame that can move from a raised position above the ground to a lowered position in contact with the ground to permit radial travel of the conveyor. Actuators normally used to raise or lower the radial travel wheels may be actuated automatically by a controller in response to a signal from an inclination and/or limit sensor mounted on the conveyor that represents a non-level orientation of the conveyor, to level the base frame.

Abstract: A method, a device, and a non-transitory storage medium are described in which an access control with differentiated service is provided. The service may provide access barring information that includes an access class and a group identifier. The access class and group identifier may constitute an access category identifier that identifies an access category under a unified access control (UAC). The access class and group identifier may correlate to a type of access attempt and/or condition related to the end device. The access class and group identifier may pertain to end device access via a non-standalone deployment.

  • Patent number: 11513798
Abstract: A system and method are provided for simplifying load acquire and store release semantics that are used in reduced instruction set computing (RISC). Translating the semantics into micro-operations, or low-level instructions used to implement complex machine instructions, can avoid having to implement complicated new memory operations. Using one or more data memory barrier operations in conjunction with load and store operations can provide sufficient ordering as a data memory barrier ensures that prior instructions are performed and completed before subsequent instructions are executed.

  • Patent number: 11513253
Abstract: A system identifying a source of radiation is provided. The system includes a radiation source detector and a radiation source identifier. The radiation source detector receives measurements of radiation; for one or more sources, generates a detection metric indicating whether that source is present in the measurements; and evaluates the detection metrics to detect whether a source is present in the measurements. When the presence of a source in the measurements is detected, the radiation source identifier for one or more sources, generates an identification metric indicating whether that source is present in the measurements; generates a null-hypothesis metric indicating whether no source is present in the measurements; evaluates the one or more identification metrics and the null-hypothesis metric to identify the source, if any, that is present in the measurements.
