Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are disclosed for vehicle servicing and vehicle value adjustments. Example methods may include receiving vehicle registration information comprising a vehicle identification number for a vehicle, determining a first value for the vehicle, and determining vehicle usage data for the vehicle, the vehicle usage data comprising vehicle driving data and vehicle component status. Methods may include determining a first value adjustment for the vehicle based at least in part on the vehicle usage data, determining maintenance information associated with the vehicle, the maintenance comprising vehicle service record data, determining a second value adjustment for the vehicle based at least in part on the maintenance information, and generating a second value for the vehicle based at least in part on the first value, the first value adjustment, and the second value adjustment.

Abstract: A device includes a housing, illumination means, a reflective plate, and a detector. The housing defines an aperture. The illumination means is for providing illumination (natural or artificial) along an optical axis that passes through the aperture. The reflective plate is movable, relative to the housing, between a retracted and a deployed position. The positions are defined so that during such movement, the optical axis traces a line across the reflective plate. The detector is aligned to detect illumination from the illumination means after light through the aperture is reflected from the reflective plate. A method is also described. The device is particularly suitable for moving the reflective plate temporarily in front of a pushbroom or whisk broom type sensor for calibration because the line traces across a first portion of the diffusing surface that is subject to sunlight degradation and a second portion that is always shielded from sunlight.

Abstract: A process for the preparation of phosphate-containing extruded alumina catalyst supports is disclosed. Due to their particular characteristics, these supports find application in hydrocarbon conversion catalysts and especially in catalysts for the hydrotreating of petroleum feedstocks.
