  • Patent number: 9751460
Abstract: A cup holder assembly includes a lens and a cup holder liner. The lens is configured to receive light from a light source and direct the light towards a perimeter edge of the lens. The cup holder liner is composed of a light transmissive material and is disposed above the lens. The cup holder liner includes a peripheral wall that has an interior surface defining a receptacle. The lens extends beyond an exterior surface of the peripheral wall to define a perimeter edge segment of the lens that protrudes from the exterior surface of the peripheral wall to the perimeter edge of the lens. The lens is configured to emit light from the perimeter edge segment into the peripheral wall through the exterior surface thereof to illuminate the interior surface of the peripheral wall of the cup holder liner.

  • Patent number: 9665854
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for generating alerts in association with a request to open an account for an individual. For example, information identifying an individual may be received from a financial entity in association with the financial entity receiving a request to open an account for the individual from a requesting entity. The requesting entity may be a vendor or service provider associated with the financial entity. An electronic notification may then be sent to the individual, which may include a selectable option to indicate that the individual does not authorize opening of the account. In response to receiving an indication that the individual does not authorize opening of the account, notifications may be sent to both the financial entity and the requesting entity indicating that the individual has not authorized opening of the account.

  • Publication number: 20160231493
Abstract: A light assembly for illuminating an emblem includes a housing, an emblem, and an optical light guide. The housing holds a light source. The emblem has a structural body defined by emblem edges. The optical light guide is coupled to the housing and has a shape associated with the emblem. A surface of the optical light guide faces and is at least partially covered by the structural body of the emblem. The optical light guide defines exposed edges that project laterally beyond the emblem edges of the emblem. The optical light guide is configured to receive light generated by the light source and to emit at least some of the light along the exposed edges thereof.

  • Patent number: 7975299
Abstract: An identity monitoring system notifies legal guardians of potentially fraudulent activity associated with their children's identities. The monitoring system may determine if credit files for respective enrolled minors exist and monitor any credit files of the enrolled minors, such as via periodic requests for credit data and comparison of certain returned credit data, in order to determine if potentially fraudulent activity associated with the minor has occurred. The monitoring system provides periodic notifications, such as via email and/or Internet-accessible user interfaces, regarding potentially fraudulent use of their children's identities. In one embodiment, the monitoring system also provides legal guardians with useful information and resources for how they can further protect the identity of their children.
