    Abstract: A measuring apparatus includes several feeding mechanisms, a conveying mechanism, and receiving barrels as many as the feeding mechanisms; each feeding mechanism includes a storage barrel, a conduit connected to an outlet of the storage barrel, an elastic element in the conduit, and a transmission for rotating the elastic element so as to convey material forwards along the conduit; the conveying mechanism includes a guiding and bearing board for supporting the receiving barrels, a platform, a conveying machine for pushing the receiving barrels forwards, a propping power source for propping the platform upwards, and scales; the board has slots, and the scales are positioned on the platform for weighing materials added into the receiving barrels; each scale has propping rods thereon such that the scales will weigh materials added into the receiving barrels when moved up for the propping rods to pass through the slots and prop the receiving barrels.

    Abstract: An automatic picture tube cutting machine is provided. The machine includes a transporting mechanism for transporting a tray carrying a picture tube into a moving-up-and-down base, which automatically adjusts the vertical position of the picture tube based upon its size. The machine also includes a positioning and cutting device wherein a plurality of clamp units cooperatively set tungsten heating filaments in contact with the picture tube to circumscribe that picture tube at a preset cutting height. Upon heating via the tungsten heating filaments and subsequent cool water quenching, the picture tube is broken at its circumscribed portion into separated front and rear stages.

    Abstract: A material collecting apparatus includes a frame with an upper supporting panel, weighing device sets hung on the panel, barrels hung on a respective weighing device set, dust collectors above a respective barrel, drawing devices connected with a respective one of the dust collectors for providing sucking force, feeding conduits connected with a respective one of the barrels, a material tank having separate compartments for containing different materials therein, and control valves each having a conduit; the feeding conduits are connected with first ends of respective plural ones of the control valve conduits while the control valve conduits are connected with a respective compartment at second ends; thus, different dry materials can be conveyed from the compartments into the barrels, and collected according to respective intended weights of the materials when the apparatus is in operation; the dust collectors prevent the materials from passing out of the barrels.
