  • Publication number: 20140282209
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide an input device comprising a processor, a displacement sensor coupled to the processor and a control button coupled to the processor. The displacement sensor is controlled by the processor and configured to detect movement of the input device relative to a surface. The control button is configured to open a first side panel and a second side panel on a virtual desktop of an operating system. The first and second side panel are configured to be opened when the control button is pressed and the input device is moved in a direction of the particular side panel. The first side panel is populated with a first set of one or more selectable icons for launching executable files, and the second side panel is populated with a second set of one or more selectable icons for moving currently running applications to a virtual desktop foreground.

  • Publication number: 20060047413
Abstract: The present invention consists of a method to ensure the integrity of the navigation solution even when the user is in a non controlled environment as it is the case of urban and road applications. The method requires the existence of a Signal In Space with guaranteed integrity as the one today provided by SBAS systems or from GBAS, Galileo or GPS-III in the future. The invention covers the algorithms to detect and isolate errors present in non controlled environments such as multipath and compute resulting position error bounds with the required level of integrity. This invention substantially increases the field of application of satellite navigation systems with associated integrity to the so-called liability critical applications.

  • Publication number: 20050210743
Abstract: The present invention makes reference to a method of cultivation to improve the fruit crop and is characterised in that it consists of making a longitudinal incision or pressure, mainly to the base of the floral cluster, making it in the period between the opening of the first flowers and the end of the fattening of the last fruit in order, to thus obtain bigger fruit. The stated incision must, by preference, be made a short time after the appearance of the first flowers. The present invention is applicable to the Solanaceae group of plants with an instrument that is in general use or with an instrument specific to this procedure.
