    Abstract: An enclosure for housing a multi-way cable connector, includes an accessible interior for connecting appliances to the connector. The enclosure provides separate apertures for input cables and output cables to the associated appliances. The enclosure can be a box with a lid. Associated cables may pass through a recess formed at an edge of the lid. In one embodiment, the enclosure is placed on the floor, and whenever the lid is closed, the enclosure forms a footrest.
