  • Patent number: 8182630
Abstract: The invention relates to a method of producing a decorative paper for a laminated material. The method comprises the steps of scanning a sample of a natural material for generating a digital image (10, 11, 12, 13), constructing a decorative motif (15, 16, 17, 18) by means of computer-assisted processing of the digital image (10, 11, 12, 13), and generating the decorative paper by printing the decorative motif (15, 16, 17, 18). The invention suggests that the step of digital image processing involves adapting the scanned digital image (10, 11, 12, 13) to a reference image (14). The object of the invention is to provide a design technique that allows to offer an almost arbitrarily large variety of decors to the consumers at low production costs.

  • Patent number: 6843103
Abstract: A automatic system for the capture, weighing and expulsion of solid particles, consisting of an airtight weighing chamber, inside which there is an inner container in which the particles entering the chamber through an entrance duct are collected. Said container transmits its weight to a weighing sensor, also located inside the weighing chamber but not in contact with the walls of the chamber. Once weighed, the sample is expelled from the chamber by the injection of compressed air. The system can be directly applied to determine the mass flow of solid particles in pneumatic transport ducts by integrating it into automatic sampling systems, and also gives a signal which can be integrated in regulating loops for the control of said flow.

  • Publication number: 20040154378
Abstract: The invention relates to an automatic system for collecting, weighing and releasing solid particles comprising a leak-tight weighing chamber (1) which houses a container (5), whereon the particles entering said chamber (1) via an inlet (4) come to rest. The weight of the container (5) is transmitted to a weighing sensor (7) which is also located inside the weighing chamber (1) but which does not come into contact with the walls of said chamber. Once the sample has been weighed, it is removed from the chamber through the injection of compressed air. The inventive system can be used directly to determine the mass flow of solid particles in pneumatic conveyor lines by means of the integration thereof in automatic sampling systems. For this purpose, a signal is emitted which can be integrated in flow regulation loops in order to control said flow.
