  • Patent number: 12254865
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer-readable media, for speech recognition using multi-dialect and multilingual models. In some implementations, audio data indicating audio characteristics of an utterance is received. Input features determined based on the audio data are provided to a speech recognition model that has been trained to output score indicating the likelihood of linguistic units for each of multiple different language or dialects. The speech recognition model can be one that has been trained using cluster adaptive training. Output that the speech recognition model generated in response to receiving the input features determined based on the audio data is received. A transcription of the utterance generated based on the output of the speech recognition model is provided.

  • Patent number: 12254646
Abstract: A system for refining a six degrees of freedom pose estimate of a target object based on a one-dimensional measurement includes a camera and a range-sensing device. The range-sensing device is configured to determine an actual distance measured between the range-sensing device and an actual point of intersection. The range-sensing device projects a line-of-sight that intersects with the target object at the actual point of intersection. The system also includes one or more processors in electronic communication with the camera and the range-sensing device and a memory coupled to the processors. The memory stores data into one or more databases and program code that, when executed by the processors, causes the system to predict the six degrees of freedom pose estimate of the target object. The system also determines a revised six degrees of freedom pose estimate of the target object based on at least an absolute error.

  • Patent number: 12252739
Abstract: Selectively controllable cleavable linkers include electrochemically-cleavable linkers, photolabile linkers, thermolabile linkers, chemically-labile linkers, and enzymatically-cleavable linkers. Selective cleavage of individual linkers may be controlled by changing local conditions. Local conditions may be changed by activating electrodes in proximity to the linkers, exposing the linkers to light, heating the linkers, or applying chemicals. Selective cleaving of enzymatically-cleavable linkers may be controlled by designing the sequences of different sets of the individual linkers to respond to different enzymes. Cleavable linkers may be used to attach polymers to a solid substrate. Selective cleavage of the linkers enables release of specific polymers from the solid substrate. Cleavable linkers may also be used to attach protecting groups to the ends of growing polymers. The protecting groups may be selectively removed by cleavage of the linkers to enable growth of specific polymers.

  • Publication number: 20250085604
Abstract: A system for simplified driving of electrophoretic media using a positive and a negative voltage source, where the voltage sources have different magnitudes, and a controller that cycles the top electrode between the two voltage sources and ground while coordinating driving at least two drive electrodes opposed to the top electrode. The resulting system can achieve roughly the same color states as compared to supplying each drive electrode with six independent drive levels and ground. Thus, the system simplifies the required electronics with only marginal loss in color gamut. The system is particularly useful for addressing an electrophoretic medium including four sets of different particles, e.g., wherein three of the particles are colored and subtractive and one of the particles is light-scattering.
