Publication number: 20240311730Abstract: A method for simulating conveyors includes receiving conveyor content for each cycle, the conveyor content including over-cycle distributions each specific to a vehicle group at a footprint of each conveyor for a footprint cycle time, determining a cumulative probability, for each footprint cycle time, across all of the footprints of the conveyor, of one or more of the footprints of the conveyor having that cycle time or less, and determining an individual probability, for each footprint cycle time, across all of the footprints of the conveyor, of the conveyor having that cycle time. The method further includes receiving a vehicle dispatch strategy and generating an alert indicating an over-cycle risk for the strategy based on the individual probabilities, and/or performing a discrete event simulation of the conveyors using one of the individual probabilities for each cycle and for each conveyor. Other examples systems and methods are also disclosed.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 13, 2023Publication date: September 19, 2024Inventors: Dennis J. Publication number: 20240257963Abstract: A method and a related system for providing setting parameter values to a medical apparatus to perform a medical treatment, the method comprising a remote procedure comprising the steps of providing a remote device comprising a user interface, entering setting parameter values into the remote device by the user interface, wherein the setting parameter values define a setting of the medical apparatus and are related to an identified patient and are part of a patient prescription for said identified patient. The remote procedure further comprises generating a setting signal encoding said setting parameter values. The method further comprises an acquisition procedure including providing the medical apparatus with a reader, reading the setting signal by relatively approaching the reader of the medical apparatus to the remote device, and acquiring said setting parameter values through the reading step. The medical apparatus is set based on the values of said setting parameter values.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 9, 2022Publication date: August 1, 2024Inventors: Nhi Nguyen, Derek Neiman, Hui Hoang, Taylor Piechowski

Patent number: 11657179Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for processing private data using a workflow action are described. A method may include identifying, at a user device that is authenticated to access a local system, an action of a workflow that is running on an external server that is external to the local system. The action may involve processing private data stored within the local system. The method may further include receiving, at the user device, a direct data query associated with the action, the direct data query including a set of encoded instructions that are self-extracting upon being executed by a browser of the user device. The method may further include executing, by the browser of the user device, the set of encoded instructions to directly access the private data and transmitting an indication of a result of the action based on directly accessing the private data.Type: GrantFiled: April 15, 2021Date of Patent: May 23, 2023Assignee: Salesforce, Inc.Inventors: Douglas Eliot Chasman, David Chungnan Wu, Hugh Francis Cockburn, Alex Edelstein, Antoine Barseni, Franck Thomas, Antoine Magnier, Nhi Nguyen, Benoit Dufourd, Samantha Reynard, Samuel William Bailey

Publication number: 20230153078Abstract: Techniques are disclosed relating to branch decision elements. A computer system may access process flow information specifying a process flow defining an ordering of elements that include a branch selector element that is connected to branches that flow to a branch return element. The computer system may execute the process flow, including traversing the elements and accessing state information that identifies which of the branches have been evaluated for traversal. Upon reaching the branch selector element, the computer system may determine, based on the state information, whether the branches include a branch that has not been evaluated. In response to determining a branch has not been evaluated, the computer system may determine whether to traverse that branch. Upon reaching the branch return element, the computer system may determine whether to return to the branch selector element based on whether a particular number of the branches have been evaluated.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 16, 2021Publication date: May 18, 2023Inventors: Kiran Hariharan Nair, Nhi Nguyen, Samuel William Bailey

Patent number: 10352668Abstract: A mortar ammunition round which contains at least three fragment producing regions covered by a threadably removable aluminum cowling. Detachment of the cowling provides access to several of the fragment producing regions which are located on a removable cup device. A different cup device may then be selectively inserted and the cowling replaced, forming a new mortar round of different select performance capabilities.Type: GrantFiled: December 27, 2017Date of Patent: July 16, 2019Assignee: The United States of America as Represented by the Secretary of the ArmyInventors: Ryan Hooke, Frank Munoz, Jack Pincay, James Hamfeldt, Jeffrey R. Patent number: 10092428Abstract: A delivery device system for delivering a low profile prosthesis and a method for releasably retaining a prosthesis on the device are described. The delivery device comprises a prosthesis disposed about the proximal end of the inner cannula. In a first configuration the prosthesis is releasably secured to the inner cannula in a radially inwardly contracted low profile delivery configuration and in a second configuration the prosthesis is at least partially radially outwardly deployed. First and second trigger wires extend longitudinally and circumferentially about the prosthesis in helical configurations. The first trigger wire is helically wound in a clockwise direction and the second trigger wire is helically wound in a counter-clockwise direction. When the first and second helical trigger wires are in a tensioned condition, the prosthesis is releasably secured to the inner cannula in a radially inwardly contracted low profile delivery configuration.Type: GrantFiled: December 17, 2015Date of Patent: October 9, 2018Assignee: Cook Medical Technologies LLCInventors: Jacqui Faber, Muhammed Ahsan, Sean O'Brien, Nhi Nguyen, Joshua Griffin
