Abstract: The transport frame has engagement elements configured to engage and hold a battery-operated electronic device via its battery compartment and/or securing elements for the battery compartment cover only. The engagement elements optionally may be movable apart to secure the device, for example by a lever-actuated cam against spring biasing. The transport frame optionally may be mounted in a fixture, for example at a testing location, the transport frame and fixture being configured in complementary fashion whereby the transport frame is mountable in the fixture for any desired purpose, for example to facilitate testing of the device at the fixture location.

Abstract: An apparatus for seating within a battery compartment and a smart card compartment of a device, including a battery component and a smart card component. The battery component is coupled to the smart card component. The smart card component is configured to seat within a smart card compartment of a device. The apparatus is configured to be inserted into a smart card compartment of a smart card containing device substantially simultaneously with the insertion of the battery component into a battery compartment of the device. The smart card component may be a test smart card, and the battery component may be a battery emulator.

Abstract: An apparatus for monitoring a path or section trace identifier. The apparatus receives the trace identifier and subjects it to a transform algorithm to produce a transformed trace identifier. The apparatus then compares the transformed trace identifier with a correspondingly transformed expected trace identifier and determines if there is a match or a mismatch. The CRC-32 (32-bit cyclic redundancy check) checksum algorithm may be used. The algorithm produces transformed trace identifiers that are significantly smaller than the non-transformed trace identifiers.
