  • Publication number: 20240112244
Abstract: A method includes determining a first taxonomy of an anchor product. The first taxonomy includes a plurality of levels for classifying products organized from a highest taxonomy level to a lowest level. The method further includes determining a second taxonomy closest to the first taxonomy. The second taxonomy is associated with a group of products, the first taxonomy and the second taxonomy have at least a common highest taxonomy level, and the determination is made at least in part based on co-purchase data indicating that the anchor product and at least one product in the group of products are purchased together more often than products associated with other taxonomies are purchased with the anchor product. The method further includes determining a most similar product to the anchor product from the group of products of the second taxonomy and associating the anchor product and the most similar product in a collection.

  • Patent number: 11928720
Abstract: A method for generating a related product interface portion in an electronic user interface based on user-generated text includes identifying, for each product of a plurality of products, one or more respective characteristics from end user-generated text associated with the product, whereby a plurality of characteristics are identified for the plurality of products. The method further includes determining a plurality of characteristic groups, each group comprising two or more of the plurality of characteristics, wherein the characteristics within a group are similar to each other; receiving, from a user through the electronic user interface, an input related to a product category; and in response to receiving the user input, generating and presenting the related product interface portion that includes a respective product from each of the two or more of the characteristic groups related to the category.

  • Publication number: 20230260003
Abstract: A method of determining item features and organizing an interface according to the features includes determining a plurality of features of a plurality of items, the plurality of items accessible through an electronic interface, applying a plurality of machine learning models to the determined features, wherein each of the machine learning models calculates a correlation of each feature to characteristic determinative of user selection on the electronic interface, calculating respective Shapley values of each correlation determined by each of the plurality of machine learning models, determining one or more of the item features that are most strongly correlated with the determinative characteristic according to the respective Shapley values, and causing the electronic interface to be organized according to the determined most strongly correlated item features.

  • Publication number: 20230245139
Abstract: In some aspects, a computing system is configured to use graph-based techniques to detect synthetic identities. The computing system can generate a collection of graphs based on account data and transaction data for online entities. The collection of graphs includes multiple graph communities, each graph community including nodes and edges. Each node represents a user and an edge between a first node and a second node indicates a user represented by the second node is an authorized user of the user represented by the first node. The computing system can identify a clique graph community in the collection of graphs and compare the identified clique graph community with a known clique graph community that includes synthetic identities. The computing system can determine nodes in the identified clique graph community to be synthetic identities based on determining that the identified clique graph community is equivalent to the known clique graph community.

  • Patent number: 11625730
Abstract: In some aspects, a computing system can detect synthetic identities based on attributes associated with online entities. The computing system can generate entity links between primary entity objects and a secondary entity object. The secondary entity object identifies a target consumer as a secondary entity for accounts identified by the primary entity objects. Attributes of the secondary entity object and attributes of the primary entity objects can be calculated and compared to determine an inconsistency between a combination of a name attribute value and an address attribute value of the secondary entity object as compared to the primary entity objects. A fraud warning indicating that the target consumer is likely to be a synthetic identity can be generated based on the inconsistency and other attributes of the target consumer, such as an inquiries attribute, a terminations attribute, a duration attribute, and so on.
