  • Patent number: 11933579
Abstract: Weapon with an integrated winch (integrated winch) includes a reel, a tightening bolt and a line. One end of the line is attached to the reel and the other end of the line is preferably terminated with a line loop. A line O-ring is retained by the line loop. The tightening bolt may be inserted through a riser hole, threaded into a riser or threaded into stabilizer or the like. The tightening bolt is inserted through an axle hole in the reel. Tightening a head of the tightening bolt head prevents the reel from rotating. The line is prevented from unraveling by securing the line O-ring to the reel. A second embodiment of the integrated winch preferably includes the reel, a bracket, a reel axle, a riser bolt and two thumb nuts. The reel is rotatably retained by the bracket and the bracket is retained in a riser.

  • Patent number: 10955214
Abstract: A mass transfer module attachable to a string stop of an archery bow preferably includes a fastener, a clamp, a hole and at least one a weight component and a vibration dampening device. The clamp is located on one end of the mass transfer module and the threaded hole is located on an opposing end. The clamp is secured to a string stop rod by tightening the fastener. In an alternative embodiment, an extension rod may be used to extend the weight component and/or vibration dampening device away from a mass body of the mass transfer module. In an alternative embodiment, the hole may be replaced with a stop clamp. In another embodiment the mass transfer module may be pivotally secured to the string stop rod in two axes.

  • Patent number: 8783236
Abstract: An archery bow and cam apparatus having an anti-rotation cam stop mechanism which permits loosening of the bow string, loosening of a cable, or loosening of the bow string and a cable. The anti-rotation means may comprise an aperture or series of apertures through the cam and a member insertable in the aperture. The member can extend through the cam assembly and contact the limb of the bow to prevent the cam from rotating back to a resting or static position. The invention is particularly suited for a compound bow or compound crossbow having one or more cams, and a combination of a bow string and power cable, such the bow string may be detensioned by increasing the tension on the power cable, and vice versa, upon stopping free rotation of the cam.

  • Publication number: 20040118391
Abstract: A rigid structure for carrying and supporting an archery bow is disclosed herein. The structure comprises a gripping portion adjoined to an attachment portion or portions so as to form an open L-shape or closed U-shape and a means for connecting the attachment portion or portions to the riser on an archery bow. The structure is adapted to be secured by connecting means to a central region of the riser of an archery bow, such that when normally carried, the archery bow, on either side of the riser, is carried away from and downwardly from the riser. This positioning of the structure lowers the center of gravity below the structure to permit the archery bow to maintain balance from side to side and end to end when being carried by an archer.

  • Patent number: 6502566
Abstract: A support device for attachment to a bow for holding an arrow in position with respect to the bow string. The support device comprising a support frame comprising a pair of arms, which with respect to the bow when in operation, are downwardly and forwardly extending to terminate in lower cradle tips. These are spaced apart and positioned so as to support an arrow shaft in perpendicular orientation to the bow string of an archery bow to which the device is attached and to permit unobstructed fletch clearance during launch of the arrow. Thus, said arms also having top ends which are integrally connected to each other by a bridging member, whereby the arms and bridging member circumscribe the arrow to be launched from the archery bow. An attachment means for releasably securing the support device to the handle region of an archery bow and a means connecting the support frame to the attachment means at a location above the lower ends of the arms.
