  • Patent number: 12042062
Abstract: The invention provides a new stirrup design for children, that secures the foot preventing unwanted movement, thus making the footing more stable and safer, preventing bouncing off, sliding forward, or sliding sideways. In the event the passenger dismounts, the invention is specially designed to release its grip on the foot enabling easy removal. In the event the passenger falls backward, the invention has a specific malleable design to enable the foot to pivot up and back, thus preventing the foot from getting entangled or trapped.

Abstract: Provided are methods and systems for preventing malicious behavior of an end point. An example method commences with monitoring a stream of events associated with the end point. The method further includes processing the stream to record a set of events to a memory. Processing an event of the stream includes determining that the event satisfies at least one rule in a sequence of rules and, in response to the determination, adding the event to the set of events in the memory. The method further includes determining that the set of events includes a sequence of events. Each state in the sequence of events corresponds to at least one rule in the sequence of rules. The method continues with executing at least one action on the end point in response to the determination that the set of events includes the sequence of events.

Abstract: A nasal cannula arrangement for use as part of systems for delivery respiratory gases to a patient is disclosed. The nasal cannula arrangement includes a manifold part adapted to receive gases from a delivery conduit. The manifold includes one but preferably a pair of prongs extending upward and curving towards the rear of the manifold. The prongs are inserted into the nostrils of the patient and deliver gases to a patient. The prongs have a cut out on the rear side of the prongs. The cut out forms a gases outlet in the prongs and are shaped such that the area of the cut out area is greater than the cross sectional area of the prongs at the entry point to the prongs.

  • Publication number: 20240239455
Abstract: An apparatus that facilitates search and rescue, for example, in open water. The apparatus comprises a substrate with a particular geometry and a perimeter. The apparatus further comprises a cover positioned atop the substrate with the cover also having a particular geometry and perimeter, which correspond to the geometry and perimeter of the substrate. An air-tight seal seals the substrate perimeter to the cover perimeter and creates a sealed internal region. A liquid-releasable vessel holding an illuminable dye located in the sealed internal region, along with an activator that is also located in the sealed internal region. When the liquid-releasable vessel releases the illuminable dye, the illuminable dye reacts with the activator, thereby resulting in illumination of the illuminable dye. The liquid-releasable vessel comprises an opening with a release mechanism (e.g., clamp, etc.).

  • Publication number: 20240183996
Abstract: Some embodiments of the invention pertain to methods carried out by a navigation satellite system (NSS) receiver for estimating parameters useful to determine a position. The receiver observes signals from satellites. Delta carrier phase observables are computed by subtracting observables of different epochs. An estimator uses state variables and computes their values based on the computed delta carrier phase observables. A synthetic carrier phase observable for an anchor epoch is generated, for each carrier phase observable of a terminus epoch for which one of the following applies: (i) a change in phase ambiguity occurred with respect to the corresponding carrier phase observable of the anchor epoch, and (ii) no corresponding carrier phase observable was tracked at the anchor epoch. Generated synthetic carrier phase observables are used to compute delta carrier phase observables between the anchor epoch and an epoch subsequent to the terminus epoch. Systems and vehicles are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 12002115
Abstract: A system for implementing a trial in one or more fields is provided. In an embodiment, a agricultural intelligence computing system receives field data for a plurality of agricultural fields. Based, at least in part, on the field data for the plurality of agricultural fields, the agricultural intelligence computing system identifies one or more target agricultural fields. The agricultural intelligence computing system sends, to a field manager computing device associated with the one or more target agricultural fields, a trial participation request. The server receives data indicating acceptance of the trial participation request from the field manager computing device. The server determines one or more locations on the one or more target agricultural fields for implementing a trial and sends data identifying the one or more locations to the field manager computing device.

  • Publication number: 20240168174
Abstract: Some embodiments of the invention relate to methods carried out by a navigation satellite system (NSS) receiver for estimating parameters useful to determine a position. The NSS receiver observes NSS signals from a plurality of NSS satellites. The method comprises performing a delta-carrier-phase-observables-computation procedure. It is further determined whether a criterion, indicative of (i) continuity of carrier phase measurements from an anchor epoch to a terminus epoch, and/or (ii) stability of NSS satellite measurement geometry from the anchor epoch to the terminus epoch, is satisfied, and, if not, the anchor epoch is moved forward. Then, after determining whether the criterion is satisfied and after either moving the anchor epoch or not, the delta-carrier-phase-observables-computation procedure is performed again for a new terminus epoch. Systems and vehicles using such a method are also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20240098395
Abstract: Improvements in an adjustable sound bar end cap to allow for the end caps to be outwardly adjustable relative to the frame. The end caps translate from the frame to provide movement of the end caps to match exact variations due to differences in finishes widths per different brands. Springs push the end caps from the frame to maintain a constant pressure between the frame and the end cap(s). This configuration gives 0 to 1 inch of movement per side. The fastener compresses the spring to remain in compression. Multiple fasteners allow for even compression and perpendicular fit of the end cap relative to the frame. A cover plate that covers the adjustment mechanism and adjustment screws. The cover is made from a ferrous material that is attracted to a magnet within the frame to allow for secure holding of the cover plate and easy removal.
