  • Publication number: 20240139107
Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to systems and methods for treating or preventing aging skin or other indications. For example, some aspects are generally directed to systems and methods for administering a conjugate of a dendrimer and A-acetyl-L-cysteine to a subject, e.g., to the skin of a subject. For example, in one set of embodiments, the conjugate may be applied to aging skin, e.g., to treat or reverse the appearance of aging in the skin. Surprisingly, even though such conjugates can be relatively large (e.g., greater than 3 or 4 nm in diameter) and normally difficult to administer, formulations such as those described herein are effective at facilitating transdermal drug delivery of the conjugates. In addition, in addition to aging skin, other indications may be treated in certain aspects, for example, if the subject has or is at risk of a brain injury or a neurological disorder.

  • Publication number: 20240145099
Abstract: A respiratory disease analytics system provides respiratory disease risk reports to a patient, provider, or third-party entity describing a patient's risk of experiencing a medication usage event given data in a geographic region. Regional data, including air pollutant conditions, weather conditions, demographic information, built environment factors, and regional health conditions for a geographic region are accessed from other sources and assigned based on event data recorded during a medicament usage event, as collected by sensors associated with the patient's medicament device/s. The regional data is assigned to medicament usage events occurring within a period of time. The assigned regional data is analyzed to determine an expected number of medication usage events for the geographic region occurring over the period of time.

  • Publication number: 20240147000
Abstract: Client-side transcoding of a video segment of a video into a particular version. The video streaming service determines that the video segment of the video is to be transcoded into the particular version. Rather than transcode the video segment itself, the service identifies to a client that is streaming the video that the video segment of the video is to be transcoded into the particular version. The client responds by transcoding the video segment into the particular version, and transmitting the transcoded video segment back to the video streaming service.
