Abstract: A device for maintaining an aseptic catheter environment is provided. The device includes a first housing and a second housing. The first housing and the second housing are coupled to one another by way of at least one coupler. The first housing and the second housing are configured to engage one another when in a closed configuration and to define an interior space when in the closed configuration. At least one aperture and/or notch is defined within at least one of the first housing and the second housing. The at least one aperture and/or notch is sized and shaped to allow at least part of a catheter to be positioned therethrough.
