Abstract: A watch (100) for use in a time-dependent authentication system, said watch (100) comprising: a mechanism having one or more moving components to measure and/or indicate passage of time, such as hands; a sensor subsystem (101, 102) configured to sense a mechanical configuration of said one or more moving components with respect to the fixed watch dial and to generate an output signal indicative of said sensed mechanical configuration; and a transmitter (107) configured to transmit said signal for use as a predictable, time-variant authentication token dependent on the mechanical configuration of the watch (100). In other words, the time-varying authentication token is related to the time-varying pattern formed by the positions of the hands onto the watch dial. The output signal is measured using a capacitive, an ultrasonic or an optical probe.

Abstract: A system and method and software for implementation thereof is disclosed for investment monitoring and coaching based on behavioural finance in which investors performance can be monitored and analysed allowing their irrational investment ‘behavioural biases’ (herein termed behavioural biases) to be identified. The computer-implemented method for investment monitoring and coaching comprises: by a computer, analysing said data representative of proposed investment decisions of an investor operating in a financial market to identify, based on data representative of that investor's history of investment decisions, the likely presence of a behavioural bias in an investment decision by said investor; and by a computer, generating one or more behavioural bias intervention alerts for an investor based on output from said one or more behavioural finance analysis engines.

Abstract: A system and computer-implemented method of facilitating transfer of systemic risk exposure between a plurality of entities having asset portfolios with a sensitivity to one or more of a plurality of common risk factors, the method comprising: for each entity, receiving data representative of the risk appetite of that entity to provide or receive in relation to a counterparty an amount of protection against a given loss in connection with one or more of the said risk factors; and using said data representative of the risk appetites of said entities, matching counterparties to trade systemic risk exposure by way of one or more derivatives contracts for a relevant amount of said protection against a given loss in connection with one or more of the said risk factors.
