Publication number: 20240307921Abstract: An apparatus for providing selectable multimodal vibration in a vibratory screen assembly to filter a bulk material of varying sizes. The vibratory screen assembly includes screen deck having a rigid portion and a flexible portion. The rigid portion formed by side plates, deck ends, and stability members. The flexible portion mounts within the rigid portion and includes flexible girders and support members. The support members are attached to the flexible girders and support a screen medium fixed to the rigid portion and covering the screen deck. The flexible girders include a tensioner and are held at varying tension levels to impact the vibratory frequencies of the screen deck at various locations. The vibratory screen assembly also includes a vibration-generator to provide vibration to the assembly. When vibrated, any bulk material on the screen deck experiences a range of linear and non-linear vibrational frequencies, increasing the effectiveness of filtration.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 14, 2024Publication date: September 19, 2024Applicant: Johnson Crushers International, Inc.Inventors: Wills Boothe, Brian Nicholas Becker

Publication number: 20240256948Abstract: In some examples, a method for orchestrating an execution plan is provided. The method includes receiving an input embedding that is generated by a machine-learning model and receiving a plurality of stored semantic embeddings, from an embedding object memory, based on the input embedding. The plurality of stored semantic embeddings each correspond to a respective historic plan. Each historic plan includes one or more executable skills. The method further includes determining a subset of semantic embeddings from the plurality of stored semantic embeddings based on a similarity to the input embedding, and generating a new plan based on the subset of semantic embeddings and the input embedding. The new plan may be different than the historic plans that correspond to the subset of semantic embeddings. The method further includes providing the new plan as an output.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 24, 2023Publication date: August 1, 2024Applicant: Microsoft Technology Licensing, LLCInventors: Leo Moreno BETTHAUSER, William BLUM, Andrew W. WICKER, Eric Paul DOUGLAS, Lloyd Geoffrey GREENWALD, Nicholas BECKER

Publication number: 20240256958Abstract: A method for identifying and storing a landmark memory in an episodic object memory is provided that includes receiving one or more content items. The content items each have one or more content data. The one or more content data associated with the one or more content items may be provided and integrated into one or more embedding models that represent a growing set of episodic memories. Episodic memory relates to the ability to recall content from one's personal past, such as in the form of landmark memories, which may be filtered from a plurality of memories based on a degree of salience. The one or more landmark memories and references to related content items are inserted into an episodic object memory for later recall and use in the course of context and task at hand.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 1, 2023Publication date: August 1, 2024Applicant: Microsoft Technology Licensing, LLCInventors: Eric Joel HORVITZ, Nicholas BECKER

Publication number: 20240256780Abstract: In some examples, a method of generating a security report is provided. The method includes receiving a user query and security data, and providing the user query and security data to a semantic model. The semantic model generates one or more first embeddings. The method further includes receiving, from a data model, one or more second embeddings. The data model is generated based on historical threat intelligence data. The model further includes generating an execution plan based on the one or more first embeddings and the one or more second embeddings, and returning a report that corresponds to the execution plan.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 24, 2023Publication date: August 1, 2024Applicant: Microsoft Technology Licensing, LLCInventors: Eric Paul DOUGLAS, Mario Davis GOERTZEL, Lloyd Geoffrey GREENWALD, Aditi Kamlesh SHAH, Leo Moreno BETTHAUSER, Daniel Lee MACE, Nicholas BECKER

Publication number: 20240201959Abstract: Aspects of the present application relate to machine learning (ML) structured result generation. In examples, an instruction of programmatic code that invokes an ML model indicates a result interface in which model output is to be stored. The result interface is processed to generate a data format description for the result interface, such that the input to the ML model further includes the data format description. As a result of providing the data format description as input to the ML model, the ML model is induced to generate structured model output that corresponds to the result interface. The resulting model output is processed to generate an instance of the result interface, for example having one or more corresponding properties from the structured model output. Accordingly, the programmatic code is able to reliably perform subsequent processing based on the generated instance of the result interface.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 31, 2023Publication date: June 20, 2024Applicant: Microsoft Technology Licensing, LLCInventors: Shawn Cantin CALLEGARI, Abby HARRISON, Umesh MADAN, LeRoy F. Patent number: 11147944Abstract: A handset for operation and locking of an occlusion clearing device includes a body and movable cover. Valve(s) in fluid communication with tubing for aspiration or irrigation are located within the body. A locking mechanism having first and second components affixed at different points in the handset which are selectively movable relative to one another to transition between locked and unlocked positions. The first component is connected to and selectively movable relative to the cover. The second component engages a portion of the first component, causing the cover to move in an engagement direction as the first component is moved to a locked position. Movement of the cover in an engagement direction causes the valve(s) to change from a first to second position which controls the flow of fluid therethrough. An engagement surface of the second component engages and retains the first component in a locked position.Type: GrantFiled: May 3, 2019Date of Patent: October 19, 2021Assignee: Actuated Medical, Inc.Inventors: Roger B Bagwell, Nicholas Becker, Douglas R Dillon, Robert Van Ess, II

Patent number: 9272817Abstract: Liquid-dispensing systems that include integrated aeration systems to aerate a liquid while the liquid is being dispensed are described. Integrated aeration systems enable seamless aeration of a liquid during dispensing. In one aspect, a liquid-dispensing system includes a liquid-conditioning dispenser with an integrated aeration system composed of one or more channels that convey a fluid to mix with a liquid as the liquid is dispensed. The aeration system also includes an aeration switch used to open and close the channels and regulate the amount of the fluid that mixes with the liquid. The liquid-dispensing system also includes a pump and control system to apply pressure on a reservoir that contains the liquid. The pressure forces the liquid from the reservoir to the dispenser via a liquid supply line.Type: GrantFiled: September 28, 2012Date of Patent: March 1, 2016Inventors: Nicholas Becker, Travis Thurber
