  • Publication number: 20240144425
Abstract: Techniques for using machine learning (ML) for image processing are disclosed. First encoded image data, generated by encoding a first one or more digital images using an encoder, is received. A first reconstructed one or more digital images are generated by decoding the encoded image data using a decoder corresponding to the encoder. A second reconstructed one or more digital images are generated by transforming the first reconstructed one or more digital images using a super-resolution ML model. The second reconstructed one or more digital images has a higher image resolution compared with the first reconstructed one or more digital images, and the super-resolution ML model is trained based on an image resolution corresponding to at least one of the second reconstructed one or more digital images.

  • Publication number: 20230210601
Abstract: A dental implantation assessment method includes the steps of creating a 3D teeth model; setting up a reference line, creating a health status table, and forming a multi-level frame model for an implant placement position on the teeth model; dividing each level of the frame model into a centered implant module and multiple surrounding test modules; dividing each test module into multiple assessment zones, and combining the latter with the health status table; selecting and placing a dental implant model in the frame model, and defining one assessment zone in each test module that contacts with a periphery of the dental implant model as a selected zone; and lastly, computing assessment values assigned to the selected zones to determine an object type of the dental implant model. A dentist can decide an optimal dental implant through dental implant model size selection and implantation simulation to ensure successful dental implant surgery.

  • Patent number: 11392589
Abstract: A method includes generating vertical-specific (VS) records from data sources. Each VS record includes a vertical identifier and a set of VS data fields. The method further comprises generating, for each VS record, an entity partial (EP) record that includes EP data fields populated from the VS data fields. The EP data fields include an entity ID that indicates an entity for the EP record, a source data field that identifies a data source, and an EP searchable data field including data that is descriptive of the entity. The method further comprises generating a search record for each entity ID by combining data from EP records. The data from the EP records is combined based on the source data included in the EP records. Each search record includes a search record searchable data field that includes data from one or more of the EP searchable data fields.

  • Publication number: 20120184242
Abstract: Described are methods, devices, and systems to provide enhanced wireless coverage for wireless mobile stations by facilitating centralized authentication for a variety of unrelated networks. The mobile stations can then access Internet and telephony resources via the various networks for improved coverage and bandwidth. Some embodiments support the extension of network coverage using wireless-access points that can be partitioned into multiple virtual access points, one associated with an enterprise and another with an overlay network that facilitates mobile communication over multiple networks. One physical access point can support an enterprise network using one virtual access point and the overlay network using another. Users unaffiliated with an enterprise can access the overlay network via the enterprise's physical access point without gaining access to the enterprise network.
