  • Publication number: 20160117298
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for coordinating documents between computer systems includes identifying, on a computing device, changes made by a user to a document having a model stored on the computing device, with corresponding models stored on a remote client and a server system; generating from the identified changes, one or more mutations that describe the changes and a one or more locations that correspond to positions in the model where the changes are to be provided; receiving one or more mutations from the server system and transforming the generated mutations using the received mutations; and updating the model stored on the computing device using the transformed mutations.

  • Publication number: 20150239752
Abstract: A water purification system for producing potable water includes a pump to force water from a source tank through one or more filters and a high-pressure pump for pumping filtered water into a reverse osmosis membrane, thereby producing potable water. Drain water from the reverse osmosis membrane is pressurized by a recirculation pump and fed back into the reverse osmosis membrane, thereby reducing power consumption and waste of water. The high-pressure pump and recirculation pump is driven by a common motor to provide additional power efficiency and to synchronize both pumps. In some embodiments, the disclosed system produces potable water using power from a solar panel.

  • Patent number: 8104232
Abstract: A rotatable building structure that comprises: a vertically extending building having one or more floors; a fixed core support for supporting the building, located substantially centrally beneath the building; a rotatable annular drive system for rotating the building, located lower than the building and with its centre substantially aligned with the vertical centerline of the building, the system having an upper surface and a planar lower surface; and a fixed outer support, located beneath the annular drive system, the support having a planar upper surface that contacts the planar lower surface of the annular drive system; wherein at least one of the lower surface of the annular drive system and the upper surface of the fixed outer support is a bearing material, permitting rotation of the annular drive system over the fixed outer support, such that the annular drive system is rotated via a planar to planar bearing system.

  • Patent number: 7581460
Abstract: A drive assembly, particularly for driving arms around a compartment in a waste material digester, comprises a rotatable hub having an inner drive plate and a ratchet plate secured thereto for rotation therewith. Positionally opposed, parallel piston and cylinder drive reciprocatably drive an outer drive plate, drive arms pivotally carried on the outer drive plate engaging with drive pins on the inner drive plate to drive the hub in one direction. Movement of the hub in the opposite direction is prevented by latches engaging with respective shoulders of the ratchet plate when the outer drive plate moves in said opposite direction.

  • Publication number: 20050220934
Abstract: A tabletted chewing gum sweet characterised in that it comprises at least two integral parts, a first integral part comprising a compressed gum base and a tablet base material, and a second integral part comprising a compressed tablet base material. In the mouth, the tablet exhibits a first crunchy stage which changes to a second chewing gum stage.

  • Patent number: 6015006
Abstract: A continuous casting mould comprises a fixed part (2) and a moveable part (1) and the latter includes means defining the mould passage. The moveable part is displaced relative to the fixed part generally in the direction of casting. The moveable part (1) is guided relative to the fixed part (2) by a plurality of guidance elements (4) each of which has a pair of opposit faces (6) which are arcuate convex form. The faces of each element are urged into abutting relation with cooperating surfaces on the fixed and moveable parts to allow rocking of the element relative to the surface.

  • Patent number: 5819790
Abstract: A dual plate check valve has flaps (6) mounted on one or more hinge pins (7). The ends of the hinge pins (7) are received in sockets in inserts (12), which inserts (12) are receivable in open-sided recesses (13) formed in the annular valve housing (1) and are held in place by a keeper (14) located in a generally radially outwardly extending slot (15) formed in that housing (1). Where a single hinge pin (7) is used in a vertical orientation to support both flaps (6), a cylindrical bearing member may be supported by a lower one of said inserts (12) to extend through a lower hinge lug (21) of the first flap and partially through a lower hinge lug (20) of the second flap, thereby to support the lower hinge lug of the second flap independently of the first flap.
