  • Publication number: 20250102741
Abstract: A coupler configured to cover an exposed portion of an optical fiber in a jacketless portion of a fiber optic cable and mechanically couple the fiber optic cable with a fiber optic connector includes a cover portion that may be configured to be disposed around a fiber optic cable. A jacketless portion of the cable may extend along a length of the cable between a jacketed portion of the cable and a fiber optic connector; the cover portion may be configured to provide a mechanical connection between the cable and the fiber optic connector so as to enhance a connection of the fiber optic connector to the cable; and the cover portion may be configured to protect an exposed portion of an optical fiber that extends through the jacketless portion of the cable so as to so as to enhance a connection of the fiber optic connector to the cable.

  • Patent number: 12251140
Abstract: Embodiments are directed to a medical robot system including a robot coupled to an end-effectuator element with the robot configured to control movement and positioning of the end-effectuator in relation to the patient. One embodiment is a method for removing bone with a robot system comprising: taking a two-dimensional slice through a computed tomography scan volume of target anatomy; placing a perimeter on a pathway to the target anatomy; and controlling a drill assembly with the robot system to remove bone along the pathway in the intersection of the perimeter and the two-dimensional slice.

  • Patent number: 12204153
Abstract: A fiber optic connector includes a body portion and a coupling portion configured to be coupled with the body portion. The body portion is configured to receive a fiber optic cable, and the coupling portion is configured to radially compress a portion of the body portion onto an outer jacket of a fiber optic cable to clamp the outer jacket and to prevent relative axial movement between the fiber optic cable and the connector when the coupling portion is coupled with the body portion so as to mechanically couple the body portion with the fiber optic cable without having to use a crimping tool.

  • Publication number: 20230182675
Abstract: Inflatable curtain airbags and airbag assemblies that can provide for proper deployment. The inflatable curtain airbags can include one or more cushion segments. The inflatable curtain airbags can be rolled into a bi-roll for a packaged state. The bi-roll can include a lower portion of the inflatable curtain airbag rolled in a first rotational direction and an upper portion rolled in a second rotational direction, opposite of the first rotational direction. The inflatable curtain airbags can also include one or more attachment areas disposed at or adjacent an upper edge of the one or more cushion segments. Mounting tabs may be coupled to the attachment areas and the mounting tabs may be used for installation of the inflatable curtain airbag in a vehicle.
