  • Patent number: 12286217
Abstract: Systems and methods for automatically controlling landing gear responsive to detected aerial vehicle conditions. A system can receive, from one or more sensors of the aerial vehicle, altitude information and speed information of the aerial vehicle. The system can determine to lower landing gear of the aerial vehicle based on a change in a state of the aerial vehicle, and identify a condition corresponding to a type of the aerial vehicle and the state of the aerial vehicle. The system can compare the speed information and the altitude information to the condition to determine that a condition to lower landing gear is satisfied. Responsive to determining that the condition to lower the landing gear is satisfied, the system can provide a signal to lower the landing gear.

  • Patent number: 12275038
Abstract: A method and associated system provides automated abrasive paint repair using automated abrasive paint repair devices that selectively sand, buff, and polish a substrate in response to received instructions generated by a controller. The controller receives coordinates of each identified defect in the substrate along with parameters describing characteristics of each defect, selects a sanding process, a buffing process, and/or a polishing process based on empirically derived rules established by skilled/expert human operators and the received parameters. The controller outputs instructions to cause the automated abrasive paint repair devices to execute the selected sanding process, buffing process, and/or polishing process using the received parameters. The empirically derived rules and parameters may be stored in a lookup table and/or updated by a machine learning module.

  • Patent number: 12271487
Abstract: Systems and methods for telemetry collection auto-tuning for workspaces are described. In an illustrative, non-limiting embodiment, a client Information Handling System (IHS) may include a processor and a memory coupled to the processor, the memory having program instructions stored thereon that, upon execution by the processor, cause the client IHS to: collect telemetry during execution of a workspace using a telemetry collection setting specified in a file or policy received from a workspace orchestration service, where the file or policy implements a workspace definition usable by a local management agent to instantiate the workspace; in response to a comparison between a security risk score and a threshold risk level, modify the telemetry collection setting; and collect telemetry using the modified telemetry collection setting.

  • Patent number: 12266984
Abstract: A camera module for a portable electronic device includes an actuator assembly with at least one coil segment. The coil segment includes a dielectric substrate with two surfaces. Over each surface is formed a trace that follows a path defining a multi-turn coil. The coils of each side of the dielectric are conductively coupled together to define a single inductor/coil. The two-layer coil segment can be encapsulated as a component suitable for pick-and-place and/or SMT manufacturing. In many constructions, the actuator assembly includes a stack of coil segments, coupled together in series or parallel.

  • Patent number: 12266937
Abstract: A zero-sequence current balancer for a controlling zero-sequence current in a three-phase power system includes a zig-zag transformer coupled to the three-phase power system, an inverter coupled to an output of the zig-zag transformer, and at least one of: (i) a clamp device operating as a normally open switch, the clamp device being provided in between the output of the zig-zag transformer and a neutral conductor (which may be grounded) and being connected in parallel with the inverter, and (ii) a load-break switch provided between the output end of the zig-zag transformer and an input of inverter. A controller is structured and configured to detect a fault condition in the three-phase power system, and in response cause at least one of the closing of the clamp device or the opening of the load-break switch in order to protect the system.

  • Publication number: 20250098665
Abstract: Maize pollen is notoriously fragile and susceptible to degradation unless adequately stored. Unlike some tree pollen, which can be quite hardy and capable of successful fertilization for months or years after it is shed, maize pollen remains viable for mere hours after shedding before it begins to degrade. Described here is an invention for storing maize pollen where the pollen is collected and stored in a refrigerated, but not frozen, environment with a breathable barrier. Pollen stored as described herein may remain viable for up to twelve days, or two weeks, or longer. Adding a carrier compound can extend viability of the pollen.

  • Publication number: 20250082254
Abstract: The system and methods described herein diagnose the semantic processing capability of a subject by measuring the neural response of the subject to one or more naturalistic speech stimuli. The system measures the subject's temporal response function to the naturalistic speech by computing a statistical comparison between the subject's neural signal and a time series of semantic metric values corresponding to a transcript of the naturalistic speech stimulus. A diagnosis of the subject's semantic processing capability is then made based on an evaluation of the statistical comparison.
