  • Patent number: 7921567
Abstract: A bayonet includes: a blade having a sharpened portion and a tang integral with the sharpened portion; a handle that encloses the tang of the blade and has a first end proximate to the sharpened portion of the blade and a second end proximate to an end of the tang of the blade; a guard between the sharpened portion of the blade and the first end of the handle; a clip that is affixed to the second end of the handle and is further affixed to the end of the tang of the blade; and a positioning access point on the handle proximate to the second end of the handle.

  • Publication number: 20080028622
Abstract: A tool handle assembly and method of electrically insulating a metal tool from a metal handle end piece to which the tool attaches includes an electrically insulating insert providing a gasket-like seal between an extension of the tool which extends through a handle grip and the handle end piece. In another aspect of the invention, a portion of the handle grip surrounds an internal air gap to provide shock absorption which protects the integrity of the water-tight seal between the exterior and interior of the handle assembly.

  • Patent number: 4082282
Abstract: The present invention is a game to be played on an air cushioned table of specific design. The table includes an air bed with a perforated surface to which air under pressure is supplied from below creating a multiplicity of closely spaced air jets upon which a game piece floats. Scoring areas are disposed at opposite ends of the air bed and may include one or more different types of scoring patterns applicable to game play. A player pushes a game piece from one scoring area towards the other scoring area whereby the game piece passes over the air bed with the frictional drag thereon being significantly lower than that of the scoring area towards which the game piece is urged. The air bed and scoring areas are supported by frame means and are bounded by gutter means and outside border means for respectively receiving the game piece should it fall off the air bed or scoring area and for retaining the game piece on the table.

The holes in the air bed may be located in various arrangements so as to impart various movement characteristics to a game piece passing thereover.

  • Patent number: 3941381
Abstract: An amusement game apparatus has a guide surface, a playing surface and a deflecting surface, and a freely movable player piece moved or propelled along the guide surface is directed by the deflecting surface onto the playing surface. The deflecting surface is curved and the shape varies in a direction transverse to the direction of movement of the player piece thereby varying the location where the player piece lands on the playing surface. The game includes a plurality of indicia-bearing elements such as cards for selective placement on the playing surface at different times whereby several different types of games, for example hockey, basketball, baseball and football, can be played at different times on the same apparatus. A manually-operable player element is movably connected to the playing surface for blocking or directing movement of the player piece.
