    Abstract: A method for training and using an Length of Treatment (LOT) model can include selecting, from clinical data, patient visits of patients having a medical condition, determining, for each of the patients, days of medically necessary (DOMN) admission data for the medical condition, extracting, from the DOMN admission data for each patient visit, data points including start and end dates for the medical condition for each patient visit, and adding the respective patient visit with the extracted data points to a training preparation set. The training preparation set is transformed into a model training data set using feature engineering. The LOT model is trained using the model training data set and tested against a performance standard. This process can be repeated until the LOT model meets the performance standard. The trained and tested LOT model can be used to predict LOTs for patients having or potentially having the medical condition.

The computer system can determine, based on the authentication data, that the first request is authenticated for a first user account with the first online resource. A processor, in communication with the sensor and positioning device, may calculate a cutting path and control the positioning device to execute the cutting operation. The system may utilize various cutting tools, including punches, blades, spades, shovels, and motorized saws, as well as non-contact fluid-based cutting technologies such as air or water jets.     Abstract: A system for sorting mixed solid waste includes a rotating auger disc screen, air stream generator, and optionally adjustable tilt and motor speed. Waste is conveyed across a screen bed defined by spaced discs mounted to rotatable shafts, which are configured to create both axial and transverse movement, producing diagonal flow paths. An air stream is directed across the screen to propel light or flexible materials toward a proximal edge, while heavier, bouncing, or rigid items may exit along different edges or fall through the screen. The device is tunable to separate material into multiple output fractions based on mass, shape, and flow behavior. Discs and shafts may have non-round profiles and elastomeric surfaces to increase agitation and reduce wrapping. In some embodiments, airflow and tilt angle may be dynamically adjusted. The system concentrates maintenance-risk materials such as long, sharp, or wrapping items to improve downstream equipment protection.

The gantry positioning system can move the cutter and picker various directions to dislodge and remove material that may have accumulated on the sorter. Instead of a gantry positioning system, the apparatus may have a multi-axis arm.
