  • Publication number: 20240194301
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for evaluate inactivation kinetics of a biological indicator using a resistometer that is intended for a gaseous sterilization process. The gaseous sterilization process may include multiple sterilant gas injection phases. Systems and methods are provided for evaluating correlation of D values, obtained by both enumeration and fraction negative methods for determining viable spore counts, and to determine whether there are any serious deviations from a linear survivor curve that is based on the enumeration and fraction negative methods.

  • Publication number: 20230125827
Abstract: A system for producing a mixture to deliver to a treatment site. A multi-lumen chamber can be connected to a proximal end of a mixing lumen and include a first lumen aligned and adjacent a second lumen. The first lumen can be configured to include a first constituent in a proximal portion of the first lumen and a second constituent in a distal portion of the first lumen. A first plunger can be internally positioned within the first lumen to distally move the first constituent into the distal portion to mix with the second constituent in a first state to form a first mixture. The first lumen can terminate in a first port. The second lumen is configured to include a third constituent. A second plunger is internally positioned within the second lumen to distally move the third constituent and the first mixture.

  • Publication number: 20230126071
Abstract: A system is disclosed for producing a mixture to deliver to a treatment site. The system can include a mixing lumen attachable to a proximal end of a delivery system. A multi-lumen chamber can be connected to a proximal end of the mixing lumen and include a first lumen aligned and adjacent a second lumen. The first lumen can receive a first constituent in a first state. The first lumen can include a first plunger to move the first constituent from the first lumen to the mixing lumen. The second lumen can include a second constituent and a second plunger to distally move the second constituent and the first constituent in a second state. Distally moving the second plunger causes the first constituent and the second constituent to be mixed together within the mixing lumen to form the mixture.

  • Publication number: 20230127119
Abstract: A system is disclosed for producing a mixture to deliver to a treatment site. The system can include a connector with a connector vent so that air in the connector is expellable therethrough. A multi-lumen chamber can be connected to a proximal end of the connector and include a first lumen aligned and adjacent a second lumen. The first lumen can be configured to include a first constituent in a proximal portion of the first lumen, a second constituent in a distal portion of the first lumen, and a first plunger internally positioned within the first lumen to distally move the first constituent into the distal portion to mix with the second constituent in a first state to form a first mixture. The second lumen is configured to include a third constituent and a second plunger rod internally positioned within the second to distally move the third constituent.

  • Publication number: 20230127505
Abstract: A system includes a connector with a central lumen. A multi-lumen chamber is removably connected to and in fluid communication with a proximal end of the central lumen. The multi-lumen chamber includes a first lumen aligned and adjacent a second lumen. The first lumen includes a first fluid in a proximal portion of the first lumen and a hydrophilic polymer in a distal portion of the first lumen, a first plunger rod within the first lumen to control flow of the first fluid into the distal portion to mix with the hydrophilic polymer in a first state to form a first mixture, and a first port. The second lumen includes a second fluid, a second plunger rod within the second lumen to distally move the second fluid and the first mixture in a second state, and a second port.

  • Publication number: 20060175475
Abstract: A portable apparatus for holding a plastic bag. The portable apparatus comprises a base member which includes at least two substantially parallel and substantially horizontally disposed support members. A pair of upstanding leg members is connected closely adjacent a first end thereof to the base member closely adjacent a back portion thereof. A brace member is disposed substantially horizontally and connected closely adjacent a second end of the pair of upstanding leg members. There is at least two substantially parallel and substantially horizontally disposed arm members connected at a first end thereof closely adjacent one of a second end of a respective one of such pair of upstanding leg members and closely adjacent each end of such brace member. Further, there is a means engageable with at least one of the at least two arm members and the second end of such pair of upstanding leg members for holding such plastic bag.
