  • Patent number: 11971399
Abstract: A resonant sensor probe assembly includes a substrate formed from one or more dielectric materials and free-standing electrodes coupled with the substrate. The free-standing electrodes are configured to be placed into the fluid and to generate an electric field between the free-standing electrodes. A controller measures an impedance response of the sensor to the fluid between the electrodes to determine an aging effect of the sensor.

  • Publication number: 20160078695
Abstract: Systems and methods described herein relate to indicating a repair to perform on an asset based on historic data related to a repair on the asset and/or sensor data associated with the asset. An evaluate component aggregates information related an asset such as a repair performed or data from a sensor. A repair evaluation component indicates a repair to perform on the asset based on at least one of the data from the sensor or the information related to the asset. By utilizing asset-specific information and historical data, repair schedules for assets can be more accurate and thereby reducing untimely repairs.

  • Patent number: 6981182
Abstract: Method and system for processing fault log data from a machine comprising a plurality of respective pieces of equipment are provided. Operational parameter data indicative of operational and/or environmental conditions for the respective pieces of equipment is further processed. The method allows collecting fault log data comprising a plurality of faults from any malfunctioning piece of equipment. The method further allows collecting operational parameter data relatable to each respective time of occurrence of the plurality of faults from the malfunctioning equipment. Respective identifying actions allow identifying a plurality of distinct faults in the fault log data and a plurality of data buckets indicative of respective levels of quantization of each operational parameter. At least one distinct fault cluster is generated from the plurality of distinct faults.

  • Patent number: 6622264
Abstract: A process for analyzing fault log data from a machine is provided. The process allows for downloading new fault log data from the machine. The process further allows for retrieving prior fault log data of the machine. The prior fault log data may be obtained during an earlier download relative to a present download of new fault log data. A comparing step allows for comparing the new fault log data against the prior fault log data, and an adjusting step allows for adjusting any repair recommendations for the earlier download of fault log data based upon the comparison of the new fault log data and the prior fault log data.

  • Publication number: 20030055666
Abstract: Computerized method and system for identification and evaluation of a repair likely to prevent a failure of a mobile asset is provided. The method allows collecting data indicative of an incipient malfunction in the mobile asset (e.g., 1006). The method further allows collecting usage data indicative of usage of the mobile asset (e.g., 1002). The usage data is processed relative to historical data collected from a fleet of corresponding mobile assets to generate a usage profile for that asset (e.g., 1004). The data indicative of incipient malfunctions is processed to generate a prediction of a failure in the mobile asset and at least one repair likely to prevent the failure of the mobile asset (e.g., 1010). A repair weight indicative of a probability that the repair will prevent the predicted failure is determined (e.g., 466). The repair weight is adjusted based on the usage profile of the asset (e.g.
