  • Patent number: 7431073
Abstract: A powered precleaner separates debris from atmospheric air through the use of a blower and a separation chamber. The chamber includes people are inlet orifice and at least two exit orifices, including an outlet orifice and an exit orifice containing at least one heat exchanger. The blower blows air and debris along an inner surface of the separation chamber and out of the outlet orifice. The outlet orifice is sized to allow large debris to exit the chamber. Sufficient backpressure is created to cause a predetermined amount of precleaned air to flow through the exit orifice containing the heat exchanger. A screen may be added to trap larger light debris and prevent it from flowing to and plugging the heat exchanger.

  • Patent number: 6398294
Abstract: The operator's station of an off road work vehicle comprises an operator's compartement having a control console. The operators compartment defining an interior space in which the operator is positioned. A HVAC module is located in the operator's compartment along the rear wall. The rear wall of the operator's compartment is provided with an access opening through which the major components of the HVAC module can be serviced and removed. The access opening is provided with an access door that is hingedly coupled to the operator's compartment about a transverse hinge axis. The control console is provided with a console wall having a finished exterior surface that is exposed to the interior space. The HVAC module is also provided with an exterior wall having a finished exterior surface that is also exposed to the interior space and adjoins the console wall. The finished exterior surface of the console walls matches the exterior finished surface of the exterior wall.

  • Patent number: 6254011
Abstract: A vehicle is provided with an operators cab having a heating system. The vehicle is powered by an internal combustion engine that is a source of heated fluid. Heated fluid from the engine is directed to a supply line where it is carried to a heat exchanger in communication with the interior of the operators cab. A valve having an electrical actuator regulates the flow of heated fluid through the supply line to the heat exchanger. A non-linear potentiometer controls the actuator so that the heat output of the heat exchanger is linear with respect to the operation of the control knob. The non-linear potentiometer drives the actuator so that the valve is opened at an increasing rate until it its fully opened.
