  • Patent number: 11708106
Abstract: A differentially steered vehicle includes brakes on the powered wheels which are applied via a controller according to different methods to inhibit freewheeling during turns and improve steering responsiveness and stability. The methods include applying braking force to the wheel on the inside of a turn in response to the rate of turn as indicated by the position of the steering control, to the pressure differential across the hydraulic motors driving the wheels and the rotational speed of the wheels.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 2, 2019
Date of Patent: July 25, 2023
    Assignee: CNH Industrial America LLC
Inventors: Jeffrey Brown Fay, II, Nicholas Gregory, Zachary Stephens

  • Patent number: 10251344
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a dampening system useful for reducing the shimmying or movement of caster on suspension systems of harvesters, such as self-propelled windrowers. The suspension system utilizes hydraulic cylinders on harvesters which are operably linked to the caster and that respond to movement of the caster and/or caster wheel during operation of the harvester in a high-speed operable mode.

  • Patent number: 5233351
Abstract: An improved local oscillator arrangement for a monopulse receiver in a semiactive missile guidance system is shown. The monopulse receiver includes an improved reference local oscillator wherein a first local oscillator signal and a pair of reference signals required to demodulate the output of the intermediate frequency section of such receiver are derived simultaneously from the output of a single voltage controlled crystal oscillator. The frequencies of the first local oscillator and the pair of reference signals are related to the frequency of the radar modified by any Doppler shift frequency experienced during an intercept.
