  • Publication number: 20240318538
Abstract: A drilling machine and operating method wherein a control algorithm evaluates a drill string joint-break routine. The operating profile of torque applied to the up-hole drill rod is monitored during energization of the break-out drive mechanism in the joint-break routine. Rotation at the rotational driver is also monitored during the joint-break routine, which is then characterized as normal or abnormal on the basis of the monitored operating profile of torque and the monitored rotational position change at the rotational driver. A break-out process for removing the up-hole rod from the drill string is interrupted and/or a message is provided to a display notifying an operator of an abnormal break-out.

  • Publication number: 20240183139
Abstract: A drain strainer is provided that includes a basket. The basket defines a central cavity and includes perforations that are sized to enable liquid to drain through the basket while debris is collected in the basket. The drain strainer is configured to be preloaded to a potential energy state and upon the drain strainer being released from the potential energy state the potential energy converts to kinetic energy that is sufficient to eject the debris from the basket.

  • Publication number: 20230358026
Abstract: A drain strainer is provided that includes a flange and a basket. The flange transitions to a central cavity. The basket defines the central cavity and includes perforations that are sized to enable liquid to drain through the basket while debris is collected in the basket. The basket has a flexibility of a sufficient value such that the basket may be stretched in a downstream direction to a predetermine value and then released to eject the debris from the basket.

  • Patent number: 11684534
Abstract: Presented is a chiropractic adjustment and soft tissue mobilization tool. The tool includes a flat bottom section, and a spine adjustment section. The spine adjustment section includes two raised supports aligned substantially parallel, and a spine accommodating area formed along and between the length of the two raised supports for supporting an intended vertebrae portion of a patient's spine during chiropractic adjustment. The spine adjustment section further transitions to form a protruding edge adapted for performing soft tissue mobilization. The protruding edge further protrudes upwardly and rolls off to form a planar raised surface parallel to the flat bottom. Each side of the spine adjustment section features a recessed area formed thereof to allow a provider to hold the tool with the provider's fingertips and to aid in collection and re-dispersal of lotion applied during soft tissue mobilization procedure.

  • Publication number: 20030227390
Abstract: A low-battery-status informing device for portable electronic apparatus includes a power switch, a voltage level determination module and a status informing display. The power switch is provided for users to turn on the power of the portable electronic apparatus. The voltage level determination module compares the voltage level of the battery with a reference level and outputs a status determining signal. In response to the status determining signal, the status informing display outputs a status informing signal to users without waking up the portable electronic apparatus.
