  • Patent number: 11286797
Abstract: A stator assembly for use in a gas turbine engine is provided. The stator assembly including: a conical stator shroud including a radially inward surface and a radially outward surface opposite the radially inward surface; and a plurality of stator vanes integrally attached to the conical stator shroud, each of the plurality of stator vanes being integrally attached to the conical stator shroud at a base of the stator vane, wherein radially outward surface of the base of the stator vane mates flush with the radially inward surface of the conical stator shroud.

  • Publication number: 20210123355
Abstract: A stator assembly, in accordance with various embodiments, is disclosed herein. The stator assembly comprises either a first bumper or a first tab. The first bumper or the first tab extends circumferentially outward from a mating portion of the vane towards a slot in a ring. The ring may be an outer diameter (OD) ring or an inner diameter (ID) ring. The mating portion of the vane may be coupled to the ring by a potting component. The potting component may prevent direct contact between the vane and the ring.
