  • Patent number: 11318911
Abstract: A vehicle apparatus has a controller, a first key reader disposed in a cabin of the vehicle, and a second key reader disposed external of the vehicle, such as on an auxiliary equipment. The controller is configured to actuate an engine control unit upon receipt of an authenticated signal. The controller is configured to receive a signal from the first key reader when the vehicle apparatus is operable in a first mode, and the controller is configured to receive a signal from the second key reader when the vehicle apparatus is operable in a second mode.

  • Publication number: 20190351774
Abstract: A power transfer system includes a positioning-device, a base-coil, and one or more controller-circuits. The positioning-device determines a position of a vehicle moving within a power-transfer-zone. The base-coil is disposed within the power-transfer-zone and emits a magnetic-field in response to electrical power applied to the base-coil. The one or more controller-circuits are in communication with the positioning-device and the base-coil. The positioning-device determines whether any portion of the vehicle overlays the base-coil. The one or more controller-circuits immediately control the electrical power applied to the base-coil such that the base-coil emits the magnetic-field characterized as having value of greater than 27 microteslas, when any portion of the vehicle overlays the base-coil.

  • Patent number: 10402420
Abstract: Methods and apparatus are presented for extracting, transforming, and loading data from one database to another database. For example, an extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) component may access an operational log of a given database in order to detect an update to the database. Upon detecting the update, the ETL component may extract a subset of data from the operational log, where the extraction of the subset of data is based on one or more rules. Ones the subset of data has been extracted, the ETL component may transform the extracted subset of data from the operational log into a format for another, target database, where the data format for the other, target database is different from a data format for the given, source database. The ETL component may then load the subset of data transformed into the data format for the other, target database into the target database.

  • Publication number: 20190214856
Abstract: An electrical charging includes an alternating current power supply, a source coil configured to generate an alternating magnetic field, a capture coil magnetically coupled to the source coil, thereby inducing the capture coil to capture electrical power from the alternating magnetic field, a plurality of magnetic sensors disposed at distinct locations relative to the source coil, each magnetic sensor configured to determine a sensor strength value of the alternating magnetic field, object detection circuitry configured to detect an object at an object location relative to the source coil, and controller circuitry controller circuitry configured to determine an object strength value of the alternating magnetic field at the object location based on sensor strength value from the magnetic sensors and to interrupt electrical power from the power supply when the object detection circuitry detects the object at the object location when the object strength value exceeds a threshold value.

  • Publication number: 20150106352
Abstract: Methods and apparatus are presented for aggregating data from disparate sources into an efficiently accessible format. For example, an aggregation tool may receive attribute-based data from one source and metrics-based data from another source. Given this data, the aggregation tool may store attribute data from the attribute-based data into a data object, where the data object includes multiple time slots corresponding to defined time ranges. The aggregation tool may then determine from the metrics-based data, respective metrics data for each of the multiple time slots of the data object, where each time slot is associated with the attribute data. The aggregation tool may store the respective metrics data into each of the multiple time slots of the data object. In this way, the data object may serve to efficiently provide an answer to a query requiring data from multiple data sources.

  • Patent number: 8046682
Abstract: A method and system for integrating business application elements of an external business application into an internal business application where the integration system maps the output of external business applications to a Extensible Markup Language (“XML”) format. The XML format defines a standard format for the business application elements generated by the external business applications and provided to the internal business applications by the integration system. When developing a new internal business application, developers can work with the XML formatted elements provided by the integration system without having to learn the different formats provided by the various external business applications. The integration system is responsible for converting the data generated by the external business application to the XML format.
