Abstract: An elongate base mountable to a support surface by driven fasteners and including opposed end portions which are slidably engaged by brackets on a pair of opposed end supports. The end supports, in addition to the brackets and projecting stub shafts for the mounting of a roll of sheet material, include horizontal shelf surfaces which are maintained horizontally whether the base be mounted on a horizontal or vertical surface.

Abstract: A food grater including a grater blade removably mounted to the forward face of an upwardly and rearwardly inclined housing positioned for the reception of the grated foodstuff. The housing has a handle pivotally secured to the rear thereof and movable between an open rearwardly and downwardly inclined position bracing the housing, and a forward folded position partially nested within the rear portion of the housing.

Abstract: A vent assembly for the seal of a food container including a vent opening in the seal panel at least partially surrounded by an upperwardly opening recess with the vent opening and recess being below the plane of the upper face of the panel. A vent cover pivotally mounts to the seal and, when selectively closed over the vent hole, partially overlies the recess to allow for engagement of fingers with the cover in the recess for upwardly opening of the cover. The closed cover does not project above the plane of the top panel of the seal as to interrupt the planar nature thereof.
