  • Publication number: 20250257662
Abstract: A gas turbine engine includes a fan section, a compressor section, combustor section, and turbine section in serial flow arrangement, and defines an engine centerline extending a forward to an aft. A composite airfoil, provided in one of the fan section, the compressor section, or the turbine section can have a balanced mass distribution. A woven core defines a first mass distribution. A set of plies coupled to the woven core collectively defines a second mass distribution, where the second mass distribution is nearer to the balanced mass distribution than the first mass distribution.

  • Publication number: 20250250702
Abstract: Various embodiments and methods of operation and configuring of power converters for providing a controlled amount of AC output current even as a particular load may at times approach zero resistance are disclosed. The power converters are configured to tolerate a near-short or full-short circuit load for a brief time, without disabling or tripping any safety-interrupts. The various embodiments are configured to achieve electrical requirements needed for specific chemical reforming processes, such as vaporization of an ionic fluid. The various embodiments unlocks electrolysis using AC power, thereby enabling AC electrolysis in common fluids.

  • Publication number: 20250244956
Abstract: An industrial integrated development environment (IDE) system includes device definition creation tools that can be used to select, configure, and add multiple device definitions to a control project using a single workflow. A device selection interface can be used to select multiple device definitions to be added to the project, and a device configuration interface can be used to set values of each device's configuration parameters. Upon completion of this device selection and configuration workflow, all selected device definitions and their associated configuration parameter values are added to the control project substantially simultaneously. The workflow allows the user to initially identify a parent device, backplane, or network to which the new devices will be assigned, or to add the new devices as unassigned devices and assign the new devices to a selected parent device, backplane, or network after creation.
