  • Publication number: 20250123939
Abstract: Example solutions provide an artificial intelligence (AI) agent for pre-build configuration of cloud services in order to enable the initial build of a computational resource (e.g., in a cloud service) to minimize the likelihood of excessive throttling or slack. Examples leverage prior-existing utilization data and project metadata to identify similar use cases. The utilization data includes capacity information and resource consumption information (e.g., throttling and slack) for prior-existing computational resources, and the project metadata includes information for hierarchically categorization, to identify similar resources. A pre-build configuration is generated for the customer's resource, which the customer may tune based upon the customer's preferences for a cost and performance balance point.

  • Publication number: 20240263410
Abstract: A crash cushion apparatus broadly comprising a rail assembly, a number of dividers and a number of side panels forming a number of collapsible bays, and a number of crushable tubes. The rail assembly includes a number of anchor plates and a rail. The dividers are longitudinally spaced apart from each other and slidably entrained on the rail. The side panels link the dividers together. The crushable tubes are oriented longitudinally in spaces formed by the collapsible bays and extend between sequentially adjacent ones of the dividers. The dividers entrain the crushable tubes in the longitudinal orientation without the crushable tubes being fixed to the dividers. The dividers are configured to be driven rearward along the rail and crush the crushable tubes to collapse the collapsible bays.

  • Patent number: 11763239
Abstract: A system and related method are provided to receive user streaming interaction data (USID) and determine a context of the interaction. Processed stream data is stored, and emotion information (EI) is created by analyzing the processed stream data, producing an EI-tagged interaction record. An overall first EI value (EIV) reflects a value of an EI at a first time, and an overall second EIV reflects a value of an EI at a second time. Indicators related to the EIs are provided on a device of a service representative (SR). When the second EIV is more negative than the first EIV, the system communicates a recommended action to the service representative that is dependent upon on the context of the interaction and the EI.

  • Patent number: 9909073
Abstract: A renewable fuel may be obtained from a bio-oil containing C3-C5 oxygenates. In a first step, the bio-oil is subjected to a condensation reaction in which the oxygenates undergo a carbon-carbon bond forming reaction to produce a stream containing C6+ oxygenates. In a second step, the stream is hydrotreated to produce C6+ hydrocarbons.

  • Publication number: 20180028384
Abstract: It is often required in the medical industry to have devices, such as patient lifters, anchored to the ceiling. A system and method have been developed to resolve various challenges posed by installation of ceiling tracks intended to be used with patient lifters. The QTTB allows gaining in installation speed while increasing its inherent safety by the reduction of component hence the reduction of required human operations and verifications. The system comprises a bracket for supporting the track and a load, the bracket comprising a T-shaped member; and an attachment member affixed to the ceiling and adapted for receiving the bracket; the T-shaped member being adapted to rotate within the track from a first position to a second position, wherein, in the second position, the track is substantially unable to move along an axis of the attachment member. A tool may be used to rotate the bracket.

  • Patent number: 9322537
Abstract: Signal light apparatus includes a tiltable structure including a mast, a counter-weight and a signal light which is rotatably mounted on a base member. A tilt control assembly including adjustable shoes frictionally engaging a rotor on the mast releasably maintains the tiltable structure at alternative tilt orientations though frictional engagement between structural components of the tilt control assembly.
