    Abstract: Disclosed herein are support devices for a plurality of cables that include a body that extends a length along a central longitudinal axis between a first end and a second end and that defines an outer surface. A slit is formed in the body that extends the length of the body between the first end and the second end. A plurality of inner ports are formed in the body that extend the length of the body between the first end and the second end, and each of the plurality of inner ports is adapted to receive one of the plurality of cables. An inner passageway is formed in the body that is connected to the slit, interconnects the plurality of inner ports, and extends the length of the body between the first end and the second end.

A computing device associated with the vehicle may calculate an estimated gradient profile and/or an estimated total energy consumption of a predicted upcoming route of the vehicle based on one or more data items, such as GPS data, altitude data, and/or map data. The computing device may determine a target SOC based on the estimated gradient profile. The computing device may determine a confidence factor associated with the estimated gradient profile, where the confidence factor depends on the quantity of data items used to calculate the estimated gradient profile. The computing device may adjust the target SOC based on the confidence factor.

The battery heating and cooling system may include a battery heating/cooling loop and a hydronic system heating/cooling loop. Upon receiving an indication to heat/cool the occupant zone, a battery management system may cause the battery heating and cooling system to direct coolant to the hydronic system heating/cooling loop to heat/cool the occupant zone toward a target occupant zone temperature. In some examples, the battery heating and cooling system directs coolant to the hydronic system heating/cooling loop during battery preconditioning or while heating/cooling the battery during operation of the vehicle. The target occupant zone temperature may correspond to a target battery temperature.

    Abstract: Techniques are presented for enabling vehicle immobilization based on location. One method includes providing a user interface to configure immobilization settings. The vehicle is configured for threat detection, and a data structure is created to define locations where immobilization is enabled. A Behavioral Monitoring System (BMS) prepares and sends a hierarchical map structure to the vehicle's communication device, which determines when to immobilize the vehicle based on its location. The communication device and engine immobilizer are installed in the vehicle. Continuous monitoring for tampering and jamming is performed, and upon detection, the method checks if geographic locking is enabled. If geographic locking is enabled, the vehicle is immobilized according to configuration rules, and the BMS is notified. The immobilization process can be ended based on predefined configuration parameters, such as a time interval, recovery of GPS signal, or driver notification.

The method also includes receiving the surface acoustic waves reflected from the surface of the material sample at the concave face. The method then includes determining at least one material characteristic of the material sample based on a property of the surface acoustic waves.
