  • Publication number: 20230287335
Abstract: Presented herein are methods for preparing and treating mammalian cell culture media through the addition of low levels of poloxamer and nanofiltration. Low levels of poloxamer improved flux and retained greater levels of a growth factor.

  • Publication number: 20220396599
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a downstream manufacturing method for the production of bispecific antigen-binding molecule products, which comprise at least two different binding domains. The process comprises at least one filtration step, wherein the filtration is ultrafiltration/diafiltration (UF/DF), and/or viral filtration (VF), wherein a ?-cyclodextrin is applied in the process either in a buffer applied in the filtration step or added to the filtration pool after the UF/DF filtration step wherein the buffer or the pool have a concentration of about 0.1 to 3% (m/v) of a (3-cyclodextrin, to preferably keep the product in a non-aggregated form.

  • Patent number: 9683409
Abstract: In an oil-sealed bearing assembly in the bearing section of a mud motor, in which a mandrel is rotatably disposed within a cylindrical housing, a cylindrical sleeve is disposed coaxially within the mandrel with the sleeve being non-rotatably mounted to an inner surface of the mandrel, thereby forming an annular piston chamber forming part of a generally annular oil reservoir. An annular piston is axially movable within the piston chamber without rotation relative to either the mandrel or the sleeve.

  • Patent number: 9163457
Abstract: In an oil-sealed bearing assembly in the bearing section of a mud motor, in which a mandrel is rotatably disposed within a cylindrical housing, a cylindrical sleeve is disposed coaxially and rotatably around the mandrel, with the sleeve being non-rotatably mounted to an inner surface of the housing, thereby forming an annular piston chamber forming part of a generally annular oil reservoir. The sleeve provides radial support to the mandrel along the length of the piston chamber by virtue of the flexural stiffness of the sleeve. The mandrel rotates within the sleeve, with a radial bearing being provided between the sleeve and the mandrel. An annular piston is axially movable within the piston chamber in response to variations in the volume of oil in the reservoir. The piston slides within the piston chamber without rotation relative to either the housing or the sleeve.

  • Patent number: 8511906
Abstract: A bearing assembly for a mud motor has a mandrel rotatably disposed within a cylindrical housing, with a rolling-element thrust bearing disposed within an oil-sealed annular chamber between the mandrel and the housing, for resisting on-bottom axial thrust loads. Off-bottom axial thrust loads are resisted by a mud-lubricated thrust bearing assembly located above the oil-sealed chamber. The lower end of a drive shaft adapter coupled to the mandrel is used to provide an upper load-transferring shoulder for the off-bottom thrust bearing, with a lower load-transferring shoulder being provided in association with the housing. The upper and lower shoulders come into mating contact under off-bottom thrust loading, with the upper shoulder rotatable (with the mandrel) relative to the lower shoulder.
