  • Publication number: 20070129156
Abstract: A child motion device has a frame assembly configured to rest on a floor surface. The device also has a drive system that drives a swing assembly. The swing assembly can include a pair of swing arms having proximal ends and distal ends. The distal ends support a child seat assembly. The distance between the distal ends relative to the distance between proximal ends is adjustable, thereby adjusting at least one motion characteristic of the device. The adjustable motion characteristics can include a gliding motion and a swinging motion.

  • Publication number: 20060252565
Abstract: A bouncer seat assembly generally has a wire frame structure and a seat suspended from the wire frame structure. The wire frame structure includes a seat section and a base section resiliently and flexibly coupled to and supporting the seat section above the base section. The wire frame structure is configured so that any gap between parts of the bouncer seat assembly is either sized small enough to prohibit a head of a child from fitting between any adjacent parts or sized large enough to prevent a head of a child from being entrapped or pinched between any adjacent parts.

  • Publication number: 20060252564
Abstract: A child swing includes a swing frame, at least one hanger arm rotatably coupled to the swing frame, and a bouncer seat assembly including a bouncer frame and a seat coupled to the bouncer frame. The bouncer seat assembly is adapted to be attached to and detached from the at least one hanger arm. When the bouncer seat assembly is coupled to the at least one hanger arm, the bouncer frame and the seat can undergo swinging movement with the at least one hanger arm relative to the swing frame. When the bouncer seat assembly is detached from the at least one hanger arm and placed on a surface, the bouncer frame allows the seat to undergo bouncing movement relative to the surface.

  • Publication number: 20050239565
Abstract: A motion conversion mechanism is described. The motion conversion mechanism includes a first member and an a second member. The firs member is configured to be arranged relative to the child containment structure to undergo motion in a first angular direction and in a second angular direction opposite to the first angular direction. The second member includes a rotation device that is rotatable about a rotation axis. The first and second members configured in combination to convert motion about the angular motion axis to motion of the rotation device about the rotation axis when the first member moves in at least one of the first angular direction and in the second angular direction.
