  • Publication number: 20250145348
Abstract: A selectively child-resistant cap assembly for a container having a container body and a container lip can include a metal inner cap configured to couple with the container body and a metal outer cap coupled to the inner cap. Each of the inner and outer caps can include a top and a shoulder. A first coupler can be coupled to the inner cap and a second coupler can be coupled to the outer cap for selectively engaging one another. A third coupler can be coupled to the outer cap. The cap assembly can be selectively coupled with the container body in a first closure position, wherein the inner cap is rotatably coupled with the container body, or a second closure position, wherein the top of the outer cap is disposed within the container body and the third coupler is coupled with the container lip.

  • Patent number: 12145781
Abstract: A child resistant container can include a container body, a closed base, an open top, an exterior and a cap assembly configured to couple to the container body for closing the container. A cap assembly can include an inner cap configured to couple to a container body and an outer cap coupled to the inner cap. A first coupler can be coupled to the inner cap and a second coupler can be coupled to the outer cap and configured to optionally engage the first coupler. An outer cap can be configured to rotate relative to an inner cap when the outer cap is in one or more positions and to engage the inner cap when the outer cap is in one or more other positions. A child resistant container can be made from recyclable metal.

  • Publication number: 20230294869
Abstract: A container can include a tray defining a cavity to contain a substance and a sleeve defining a compartment sized and shaped to accept the tray therein and prevent access to the substance in the tray. A first coupler, coupled to the tray, and a second coupler, coupled to the sleeve, can be configured to selectively and removably couple with one another for securing the tray within the sleeve. A container can be made from recyclable metal and can be child resistant.

  • Patent number: 11040808
Abstract: A metal child resistant container with a screw lid that comprises a main body, an inner cap that screws on to the main body forming an air tight seal, and an outer cap that is located over the inner cap. The outer cap prevents the user from directly interacting with the inner cap and requires the user to apply pressure to the outer cap. The inner cap has indentions that match with similar indentions stamped in or attached to the outer cap. When pressure is applied to the outer cap the inner cap and outer cap mover as one allowing the container to the open and closed. The container is further sealed by a foil seal and a desiccant material.
